  1. Will give you $75, you pay shipping to STL😀
  2. The only reason a Mega 110 will sit tail down is if it’s a defective one. They sit 30% posterior up in my pool. Weight stuck in tail maybe? You could drill and glue the weight there if you want too. Cannot recomend the RC Sticks. Piss poor QC. Took a half hour to tune most, hooks and rings sucked. No thanks. Will stick with my stash of discontinued colors of Lucky Crafts, Xcaliburs, and JDM baits. Only buy Megabass, Evergreen, and Dou Reallis mostly. Discontinued Lucky Craft I Like all the time.

    CWD cure claimed.

Would be kinda silly to try to round up, vaccinate & medicate wild deer. Bet the the rocket biologists at MDC will try when they through in the towel on feral pigs.
  4. They sell the paint texture stuff at the pool store. Works great when I re-epoxy the stairs on my in-ground pool.

Said it about 7 pages back. The Feds require your info for a hunting /fishing license . Like it or lump it.

    What's Cooking?

This is a puzzle. Think will bake to a buck 20 IT then sear in hot black iron for a minute a side.
  7. Add a $500 fine for each gamefish you gig and I’m fine with that.

SSN, etc for a licenscev is a Federal requirement under Jones Dingell Act. Dingell judt fied,
  9. Joe will be selling the rods, had a beer with him this evening. Doc wants the proceeds to go to Project Healing Waters. Really different lot of rods. Joe needs to log them, photo, etc. Will post a link when they are available. One is a mint T&T rod with Tarpon inscribed on it. Think a couple have been spoken for already.
  10. My buddy Joe plans to buy the lot, and and will be selling them. Not sure if he's concluded the deal with the owner yet.
  11. Would check FB Marketplace and Craiglist. You might have to drive a couple hours, but you will find something.
  12. Friend of mine wants to get rid of some fly rods. All great quality, used once, twice, barely if used mostly. 0lder 9’ -11’ in 7-11wt 2 pc rods. Seller pursues Steelhead & Tarpon mostly. Older rods but minty! Lots of Sage, a few T&T, Winston, & a Powell. Think 14-18 rods in total.Any interest? Would be great loaner rods for an AK operation!
  13. I agree. Spoonbill is a stupid and wasteful fishery. If those hatchery spoonbill are so special you should have to log in and report the details of your catch. Please report the date, time, length, sex, etc. Seth may disagree, but thinking the snag & release is not good. Thinking you gotta keep all you snag, Limit 3. The state could easily license buyers to clean & pack your fish in exchange for a percent on egg sales.
  14. Those folks should have paid something for the over limits, but federal charges for harvesting & eating hatchery raised fish eggs is ridiculous. The one guy selling should get a bigger fine, but not federal charges. That CO is a frigging zealot.
  15. Nothing wrong with the Lifetime kayaks. My daughters have them. Nothing fancy, but they float just fine. Congrats! I'm sure you will have some fun with it.
  16. 3,000- 5,000 casts a day for six days sounds like no fun at all. Plus you gotta do it every week. Better odds than lottery tickets, but not by much.
  17. Any is better than none and the search for the perfect do all boat is futile. If you are an avid floater you will probably have an assortment of boats that do different things well. Looking for a used SOT kayak for my daughter. She will turn 12 in May and she is 5’ tall. If you want to sell a 12’ SOT I’m buying one between now and April 30th.
  18. Had a Fox den under a huge pine in the back yard of my first home in Crestwood. I enjoyed watching them loaf & play out back. The dipsticks in the HOA were all scared of them and tried to exterminate them for years, but I never said boo about them. Had that pine cut down but left the stump before I sold that place 15 yrs ago. Stump was still there last drive by. We see a few in my current neighborhood. They like to use storm sewers for concealment & travel.
  19. Think you have a boat! Would be fun to do a OA canoe kayak try out day. Load your boats & bring them. Plan to stay overnight.
  20. Why don’t you use your fingers? A half hour of practice with someone who knows how and you will never need any of those gizmos. Greg “Sparkleminnow” Coffey taught me how.
  21. My wife likes her 12’ Jackson Coosa allot. She enjoys all the comforts of floating it and never has to load that heavy SOB on the truck. It’s fine to tie in a truckbed. Loading high above the bed on my ladder rack is a chore. Uneven weight distribution. Takes 3 steps to load OYO, or another grown man to help, then strap. My canoes go on the racks in one step OYO, maybe 15 seconds to load, then strap. Canoe prices have gone through the roof. Kayaks are cheaper now. Used to pick up used royalex canoes for $300 a pop. Bought & sold em for $500. Most are asking $900 for used royalex now.
  22. I have a 12’ fishing kayak, 15’ solo canoe, and a 17’ foot tandem. Not sure about storage on the pescador. It’s an old design, one of the first SOT’s but a good boat (Old WS Tarpon 120). You would really have to pack light to do a 3 day trip but overnight is fine. You won’t have room for a big cooler and a 30 pack of beer. Would not want a solo canoe under 14’ long. I had a Disco 119 and don’t miss it. I like my 15’ Mad River allot better than the Wenonah Vagabond I used to have. It’s a fiberglass model from the mid 1980’s. Great paddling boat.
  23. Easy to make fun of the park opener. Will always remember my dad tumbling down the high bank a Meramec near the bridge with the tackle box that contained all that we owned at the time. 45 ish something years ago. We did not even have waders, but had limits on rooster tails and salmon eggs.
  24. Look great! Don’t want to respool thread though. Hardly tie anymore, but how much for a dozen?
  25. Awesome! Good for you!
