  1. Will be there too. The count was 72 this AM.
  2. Thanks, did in my head but thinking it eats up $352 a year. Will be a tough sell unless you can store a camper & a boat on the lot.
  3. Man that's a fat hybrid. Good for you.
  4. Good looking boat! Congrats. Envious of that garage.
  5. Not interested, but what are the annual dues?
  6. I like fish pictures, especially when I'm working 60's. Post them up, it helps keep me sane.
  7. Enjoyed your report. A great adventure! Thanks for sharing it.
  8. See lots of MI & MN plates on our trout waters in the winter time. Plenty of fish to catch, come on down.
  9. That is sad news. He was a great guy, RIP.
  10. Man wants a cheap boat. Go get yourself a boat, Hundo or a bit more to register. Couple bucks a year in property tax Have bought & sold many canoes over the years, used to be easy money. Buy, fix, float it, flip it if you like one in the back yard better. Not an attractive market now. Old beat up Royalex has a Kevlar price tag now.

    What's Cooking?

My buddy loves spam his spam! The flavor profile on skewers with pineapples works but the texture is not the best. Crispy sweat, mixed with crispy salty & fatty does taste good. Love liverwurst. G&W Hausmacher is great.. Usually do for cooler foraging. Natural casing, contents are spreadable or get a spoon and go to town. Sure that the stuff from Port A was good.
  12. Yeah you want a boat. I never ask, just go buy it. Hon, I got to go see a man about a boat/gun/dog is all you need to say. Mine does not count fishing rods like Snagged's mom. Remember a convo with his dad telling me not to take more than 1 fishing rod to the car at a time😀! Mine asks about where is mine if I bring less than 6-7.

    What's Cooking?

I agree, Most home made & restaurant mac & cheese recipes just don' do it for me. To creamy, funky cheese flavors, uncooked flour taste in the roux...usually blech.

    What's Cooking?

Paella is the Spanish origin of Jambalaya..Basically the same, but saffron based, and no cayenne. Chorizo instead of Andoullie. The kids get exposed to allot of different flavors, but will gobble mac & cheese. Its gotta be Kraft, they wont touch foo foo mac & cheese.

    What's Cooking?

Paella night (no starlings or squirrels) the girls made pie.
  16. Fly rods are like golf clubs. All around does not exist but a 9' 6wt is as close as you will get. Too heavy to make dink trout fun, but will cast a decent sized bass fly.
  17. Never fish there, but visit to buy the kids a snack.. The river is more fun. Go float it.
  18. There are some nice LMB on the Meramec drainage. Usually fishing for smallmouth but they are there in the slack water with wood.
  19. Would hesitate to run a big prop rig in a maze of wood, but would not hesitate in a small boat with a trolling motor or paddle power. Don't ski rope a canoe behind a big boat. It will want to go airborne and capsize. Tie it in the big boat.
  20. Might take 5 seconds more to get a better pick. Will PM you with my suspected location😀! Nope or Bingo is all you need to reply with😀!
  21. Just a fish laying on gravel or a boat deck or bump board is uninteresting subject matter. A buddy to take a pic of you and your fish is priceless!😀 Gotta do a 180 or float down a bit if you don't want a tell tale object, road, or structure in the background. Better than hunching over. Plan your fish pic so it is a good one. Long arms look stupid, so does too much white belly (yours or the fishes).

    Rabbit Jigs

Hair Jigs Here are a bunch of mine from an old post
  23. Nice fish, and a good looking tie. Hard to top a black hair jig.
  24. A day out! Always fun plus fish!
  25. Floated 8 to Scott’s last year with the fam. More bass than trout below Meramec Springs and most of the bass were Largemouth . What the heck were they doing there?
