  1. The water temps haven't dropped as much so it will be hard to judge where the fish are in relation to spawn in April. You might have to wait a bit to determine patterns. Three really easy things I have my kids do are a carolina rigged fish doctor, the Eakins jig, or a jig with a grub tail. They can always drag or hop them from the back of the boat and should snag something. Sometimes a spectacular tree or rock! Where are you from in Iowa? I should be up there April 6-10 for work and am thinking of fishing Saylorville Lake.
  2. The green BPS combos have held up for me so far too. Nice fish!

    Rustlers?

    Taking Baldknobber applications?
  4. Come back in the Spring!
  5. I begged for tomorrow off. Best of luck to you guys. I will be working.
  6. The picture of the graph should win a photo contest! Any balls of shad around there, or just chasing your bait?
  7. That is funny! LOL I do love Chief though.
  8. Great price. Might head up this weekend to look. Can youy PM me good directions?
  9. That is a good setup! I am not sure if we can mention other Web sites on here...BUT http://www.724outdoors.com/Fishing/tournament.asp has a great list of tournaments too.
  10. Not sure what a LDR is. Sorry about the job loss. This economy has been scaring me and made me pretty much decide not to upgrade my boat. Best of luck....but glad you get to fish.
  11. It was good fun! I sleep in my cap!
  12. We couldn't make it. Hopefully next time!
  13. Did Champ lose the Champion cap so he could a free hotdog?
  14. Oops! Sorry that was a premature post. Do they have pills for that? They talk about revamping the series though.

  16. I put in at Aunts Creek most of the time. I love that place. It has two nice ramps and you can catch fish off of the rocks next to the ramp. Many times you can catch fish without even starting the big motor. If gas goes back up to $4.00 this summer I might have to fish there all year long. I am sure no one knows, but I love those Eakins jigs in Aunt's Creek. I hear Shell Knob is much better though!
  17. Nothing in Aunt's Creek.....nothing to see, move along please!
  18. Can a fella wearing a Skeeter cap attend?
  19. Hey Wack'emGood.....how do you really feel? LOL. I agree. If you are going to lie then please follow your Miranda Rights and say nothing at all. I still enjoy the fishing shows, but it would seem wrong to mislead folks watching the to learn techniques and tactics of professional anglers. Sort of makes it seem UNprofessional.
  20. I bet they are all right handed?
  21. Nice fish! I am getting more and more interested in that side imaging.
  22. Oh gosh! I can't speak for Bill, but Branson is kind of a place where the older performers go. We try to take in a show or two a year with the kids. You don't see many new great acts here. They would be a bit below a Las Vegas for shows. I sort of took that as what he meant. FLW is okay, but a bit below quality in comparison to the Bass shows.
  23. I am not sure where in Northern Minnesota you are wanting to go. If you can go as far as Raniy Lake.....I would go to Northernaire Houseboats. They will take you out for day trips. They have some great guides (or used to.) Bud used to own it, but I think he sold the place as he was in his eighties. Google should get you a Web site if you want to go that far.
  24. What a great set of speakers today. Junior and his Dad were my favorite. Great sense of humor. Met some great folks there too. My wife is a genius by not letting me take a credit card or any money for that matter. Capt. Don.....thanks for showing me the rods. They seem to be as light as a Falcon and a little better price point. Thanks for the info on the side imaging too.
  25. See you about 10 AM. You bring the rods?
