Really like wading creeks, but there's always that inevitable time where you are wading up or down a creek and you come to a hole that is too deep to wade across and banks too steep to traverse. And unless you want to go for a swim, you have to just fish the hole and turn around and head the other direction. Smaller creeks that doesn't tend to happen much but there aren't bigger fish in smaller creeks typically. I really enjoy floating when I have the time too.

The only real difference with the cameras between the 12 and 11 is the 12 can do 30fps HDR video recording. The Pro adds another camera but I think the other two are the same quality as the regular 12. 12 also adds the MagSafe charging capability, better glass, and better water resistance. If none of those other things matter along with what you said doesn’t matter I’d save my money and get the 11 unless you need the additional fanciness of the Pro and have a money tree.

You'll have to export it as a JPG or whatever format you want to use.

If you can use PS, you can use Gimp. It's free and works well. Has almost all the functionality of PS.

CBS has a deal with MLF last I checked where they show the championships of the cup series. **edit** just checked and it looks like they are only with Outdoor TV now. -
Hmm. I learned something today. I always thought that you only needed a trout stamp if you wanted to keep fish. CNR didn't need one. Well on Taneycomo I guess that's not the case above Hwy 65. I've always had one when I've fished up there, but I had planned on keeping a few if I was catching enough.

Our elementary school. If I had known STL county residents could have gone anywhere I would have skipped the line there and went to meremec college as I found not many people were voting there.

I was quite surprised as well. I only saw maybe two people with their nose dangling out of their masks. All others were wearing it properly.

They are utterly and completely wrong on this. Hospitals make way way way more money on elective surgeries they are not able to do right now because of this pandemic. They get a fraction, if any at all from people contracting COVID. My wife is an attorney for one of the biggest hospitals in St Louis and what you said above cannot be farther from the truth.

Trebeck: “What sound does a doggy make?” Connery: “Moo.” Trebeck: "No." Connery: “Well, that’s the sound your mother makes.” Best SNL episodes ever...

My 77 year old dad found out he has COVID-19 yesterday. He went with his sister in law to a wedding for her daughter in Ste Genevieve last weekend and all 4 people in the car he was traveling to and from with tested positive for it. From the looks of the pictures at the wedding mask usage was scarce, so I'm sure there are a lot more people in attendance who got it also. His symptoms are relatively mild so far with just a cough and a headache without much of fever yet. So that's good news at least. If his fever starts going up things could turn pretty fast. He's been a mostly healthy guy his whole life being a non-smoker/non-drinker, so he has that going for him.

That is my situation. I'm relatively healthy as I can be I think, or at least according to my doctor, My wife on the other hand has a plethora of issues ranging from autoimmune issues to asthma... She gets it and I'm afraid she's not going to fare well.

Surprised that dude didn't hit the green boat in front of him. With the nose up in the air he probably couldn't see much in front of him.

This place does trips on the Hatchie River which is just south of Jackson. Looks to be not as pretty water as Ozark streams but sounds like it has a healthy fish population. http://tennesseeonthefly.com/hatchie-river

25hp limit although you can use bigger motors for loading and unloading only. Trolling motor only for those boats while operating though. https://www2.illinois.gov/dnr/Parks/Activity/Pages/CoffeenLake.aspx

Nice one Scott. I hope to have another someday like that one and the one in my avatar picture... Meramec looks great right now, if that's where you were. Even down here by the house it's in great shape.

A lot bigger than the dinky stockers I caught there last summer when I went for the first time. Still fun as I could catch one on just about every cast with a mohair leech, and they were coming up top for dries too.

I wonder if it's a Adobe Flash issue. I know Chrome is doing away with Flash support at the end of the year, and every now and then I'll get a message at the top of the browser window asking me if I want to disable it. Not sure if the new forum version uses Flash or not, so it may be a reach on if it's affecting it or not. I've switched from using Chrome to the new version of Edge Chromium, which uses the Chrome code, and I haven't had any issues since the forum switch and all works as it should.

Yeah. Went back and looked and they all start at Turkey Creek. I know somewhere in the past though I’ve seen one of these kinds of maps online and it had the starting point as Bootleg. And had all the accesses up to that point.
-
Yep, I have like 3 versions dated between the early 2000's up to the most recent one. The early one has Bootleg Access on the Big River as being the furthest upstream that is generally floatable, now it has the starting point as being Cherokee Landing at US67 across the highway from St. Francis State Park.. There's lots of floatable water above that point.

Yeah, get your own. There are several brands with sit on top kayaks that are very reasonably priced, and will be way better than the rental boats you rented yesterday. Then you can outfit it the way you want, put in when you want and where you want (if you have a buddy or an understanding wife to shuttle you), and you'll be much more comfortable.

Ahh, I was going to say, creeks around here aren't that pretty.
-
Now I'm intrigued on what creek with a good reputation near St. Louis that has water that looks like that is located.

As cool as it was to go up to Canada last year and fish a remote lake for walleye and pike, it wasn't as much fun as fishing for largemouth or smallmouth locally. Trolling for fish was kind of boring and not my cup of tea, and other than being able to chit chat with the people I was with during times of no catching, it really wasn't that fun. Catching the big pike was exciting when they first got on the line and when they were close to the boat and didn't want to get in the net, but during the catch, they fought for only a few seconds before they were just dead weight. Same with the walleye, although they gave up even earlier and once they were hooked they really weren't that much of a challenge. Would I do it again? Absolutely. Mainly due to the environment up there is just gorgeous and so pristine, the air is cleaner, and it was just relaxing when we did have a chance to sit down and rest. Oh, and we caught a ton of fish, and I had never caught a walleye before so that was a fun first. And that said, we didn't rest much mainly because we fished a lot, and then had to clean the fish, and then cook and clean up. By that time we were too tired to do much else other than go to sleep.
