Yea, well I could also just go and buy one from a crackhead for $20.00 down town St Louis. (much cheaper than the printer, much less the materials needed to make the item "printed".)
My point is again ENFORCEMENT. I heard on the radio this morning the one who did this committed over 26 felonies. We have all of the laws we need, laws do nothing to deter many from breaking them. Lets start enforcing them from a young age. Lets get rid of the excuses of mental capacity, age, bad childhood, etc. IF YOU DO THE CRIME, YOU DO THE TIME!. When we show others that you pay for your acts, no matter positive or negative, you get rewarded or punished. If people are made to think twice, then it will be less likely that we hear about these situations.
It is the butterfly effect. If I see someone break a law and no one punishes that person, I will likely break that same law if I believe it affects me in a negative way. If I see someone who gets punished for breaking the law, (Punishment shall fit the offence) then I will probably not follow suit. This will not keep everyone from committing crimes, but it will slow down much of it. We start small, then work to larger scale showing anyone who may think about harming others, there are consequences, and we will follow through.
I guess, as the title states...... The enemy IS denial. We deny ourselves the lives we should live in the name of "Humanity". What about the inhumanity that was imposed on any victims of any crimes?
