  1. I'm in. Making my donation to Otis Gibbs. Out of work musician. Thanks to covid.
  2. I'm not a nascar fan. I'm not a tournament guy either. (Other than OA's One Bass.) I think tournaments are not doing anything the public can not do. Other than culling, they follow the same rules as the public. Ethics? I dont see the violation. Do I think they should be limited? I do, but I dont have a solution. I like some ideas, and others, not so much. They pay as do we. As long as they follow the same rules as we do, I cant argue. (Edit) Nascar is doing something the public is not allowed to do. Therefore they have built their own locations.
  3. My thoughts. I grew up in the Tower Grove neighborhood. I learned to swim in the "pool". I still have great memories of the large playground. I am very familiar with the bike shop Pete worked at although I was on the other side of the park. For those who aren't familiar, it's a very large city park. (Not owned by the city by the way). If the news didn't alert my phone to inform me of a live video of the removal of the Columbus Statue in the park, and I drove by after it was missing, I wouldn't have realized it was gone. I did not know and do not know who are on the statues around the St Louis area. Although I may have climbed on a few. I believe most city residents past and present did not know who the statues around them represent, 1 month ago. I believe erasing history is not beneficial. We cannot allow the media to continue dividing us. Follow the money. Someone influenced the removal, and the knowledge of who the statues represent. The media is stoking the fears and controversy in our country. We continue to fan the flames. I respect all of you.
  4. I would be satisfied.
  5. But can you verify it was on public waters? Lol
  6. Seen this a little late. Maybe not, though. Good on you, Scott. The world needs more people who are like that.
  7. Me too. He ships quick, and has good stuff. I didn't get them, but have done business before.
  8. I figured he was trying to defend his territory. So I threw it back. Otherwise it was a keeper. LOL.
  9. I know that I've been beat, but this was last fall.
  10. Left ir right hand?
  11. This really sounds interesting. I voted 1 Saturday/ weekend per month. I wont be able to always participate, but it could be fun.
  12. Thank you all!
  13. I'm looking for a left hand baitcaster. I have switched my spinning reels, and it doesn't bother me, kind of prefer it. I'm right handed, and cast with my right. If anyone has a deal, and wants to get rid of one. I'm interested.
  14. Maybe @Macsimus can give some advice.
  15. As of this afternoon, limit 2 fresh beef packages per customer. St Louis area. No other restrictions. I did notice the chicken breasts were humongous. I mean very large. I shop there regularly and cant ever remember them that large. Also, no pre cut pork chops. I bought a whole loin, and will cut it down myself, and keep a roast.
  16. Had to capture that one. Although I like the idea.
  17. Tried to add pice earlier, but trying again.
  18. Went with my boy, on Monday. We were checking out the creek behind the house. I have wanted to make this trip for 15 years. We had a great day. Lucas dropped his rod, we were trying to fish it out, and no success. While he was fumbling and climbing around on his kayak, he took an involuntary plunge. Luckily, his kayak stayed upright, and he did not lose my rod/reel. His phone was up there as well as his takle box. He lost his sunglasses, and was very cold. We practiced for this when he first went out on his kayak. He was able to climb back on, I towed him to the takeout, and got the van, and went home to change into dry clothes. We went back out and found the fish.
  19. I SAID!, GOOD! DAY!!!
  20. Just to add to the list. I dont believe the US killed Bin Laden. I believe they captured him and kept him alive. Why would you kill him, when you could use him for Intel? Just my thoughts. Building #7, the (missing/invisible) plane parts at the Pentagon, the (missing/invisible) remnants of plane in the PA field...? How many people have phone recorders 'today' vs 2001?? Sure we have them on our cell phones, but how many can use it on demand? Who would think to? I worked at RadioShack at the time, have an idea how many people bought them. Most cell phones wouldn't work at Walmart and Best Buy because of the metal roofs. How did they work in a plane? I'll stop.
  21. I'm thinking Strawberry River. No disappointment factor. And you get to clear off the curiosity.
  22. Nice.
  23. My son has the Tamarack 100 from Walmart. Its 10' and he likes it. He can stand on it, he has to work hard to flip it. He can also flip it back over by himself in deep water. No real good time on water with current to give a review as far as handling.
  24. I said that I was not much of a believer. I dont know my exact quote, too lazy to look it up. Now, I have to eat crow. I still wonder if there is more than meets the eye, if I'm being honest. I am complying with the recommendations, and I will continue to. I am off work, have been for two weeks. My manager called me yesterday to tell me that our building is closed indefinitely. She asked how I was, I explained that although we are being paid, I would much rather be working. I know most won't feel that way, but I do. I truly pray that each and every one of us come out of this unscathed. I enjoy reading and seeing pictures of all of our members antics. Be well. Daryk.
  25. Hunting mushrooms is not literal. 😀 (sorry, had to).
