  1. I guess I am just as guilty. You see, I was a Zebco 33 fan for many years. Now, I use spinning reels, and bait casters. I used to use night crawlers and corn exclusively, now I use plastics semi effectively. Darn internets. Them whopper plopper things and A-rigs will never take off though...
  2. I thought that also about the bleeding shiner.
  3. Good video, showed up on my phone. Th shiners count as catches also.
  4. You are not wrong, but I'm from St Louis, and drove in at dark. I know pretty well how to now, but that day was uneasy.
  5. That happened to me at Eagle Rock a few years ago. My phone got wet, and had to find my way back to the campground at Roaring River to pick up my stuff, and find my way back to I-44. Luckily I have a sense of direction, and knew I had to go North to get to 44. But was uneasy just the same. BTW, gas station attendants are not the same as they were 30 years ago.
  6. Just another day on the Southside. Yes Kingshighway is one of the border streets of The Hill neighborhood. That is where all the good Italian food is.
  7. 🤔
  8. Hey now, I have learned a thing or two from Wrench. I pay attention.
  9. I will arrive Thursday, possibly with DJ's crew. I will bring toasted Ravioli, and a second fryer, along with oil. Anyone is welcome to use it.
  10. Eric, this was last year's thread. Be glad to be a taste tester just the same.
  11. I'll take the swim baits.
  12. @Johnsfolly tell Livie congrats for me. That is awesome. And good job to you Dad.
  13. I don't fish Bull, but thought recent reports say it's been flooded? Good to see you post just the same.
  14. Ellis Battery in Arnold, Jeffco, has blemished batteries for less expense than non blemished. I'm told the only difference is the packaging, the usefulness is the exact same. I've bashed my head over and over about batteries and value. I read it somewhere that we spend $x.xx on lures, $xx.xx on equipment, $xxx.xx-$x,xxx.xx on motors and more on boats. What is the problem with around a hundred for a battery that will make or break your day to use all of the other equipment? I now just buy a battery from a reputable seller, keep it for about 3 years, replace. I dont want my day ruined by a battery.
  15. The camera seem nice in clear water. Heck, clear water seems nice. Lol.
  16. Interesting casting technique.
  17. I don't know if it should be deemed a failure from the results of the first event. The amount of people who attended seems lower than I expected, but I just dont believe the event should be cancelled. Olliefest generally has 2 attend, but it still goes on every year
  18. Happy birthday Ness. Hopefully you are able to enjoy your day.
  19. If so, the mail carrier ate them. LOL.
  20. @JestersHK, unjust may take you upon that. I plan on going Thursday myself. If we got too many, I can drive and carry a couple myself.
  21. I'm in 3 nights
  22. If that is an offer, I accept.
  23. I'm pretty open. I have vacation time available also. Just need a boat seat.
  24. That whole experience looks like fun. The group of friends, the water, the fish, the scenery, yes.
