I would still advise you to READ your policy. I did not sell the policy, so I will not speak for the clauses. But once you are dead and your benefits are denied to your beneficiaries, you cannot defend yourself. Upon reading the AARP article posted, it is not specific to any policy, only to the vaccine. Again, READ YOUR POLICY.

I'm surprised more info hasn't came out about the life insurance policies. Oneshot is right about them. Read your policy. Same goes for terrorism. The companies have a way of keeping their money.

Truly, I hope that is the worst you experience. Sorry to hear that you have contracted it. Confused though, how did you get tested? You know, doctors and all. 😉. I do hope you recover soon. You need that sniffer, can be an occupational hazard. -
Sorry to hear that Oneshot.

I would never be ashamed to do business with the BilletHead. Just making it public.

Homeade boat.
Daryk Campbell Sr replied to Daryk Campbell Sr's topic in Tips & Tricks, Boat Help and Product Review
I am very impressed with the boat. I'm 240 ish lbs, 5'9", no worries about swamping. I use a double blade kayak paddle. Put a 36lb trolling motor on it with a homemade lithium battery pack. I have an elevated seat, and am still very impressed. 1/4 plywood would make it more rigid, but I wanted something I could carry potentially long distances. -

No slime yet. Got a couple opportunities in the coming weeks... will report. -
I'm in the St Louis area, dont mind driving myself. But I would caution that 1 battery is about all I want in a 10' boat. I'm about 240ish lbs, and any waves make me skittish. But I'll entertain an offer. 1988 Lowe Little Jon 10' no plug (no hole), bone dry after hours of use. The seat was not stable so it is no longer in the boat.

Yes, sort of in the living room. It is my finished basement living room. It didn't take much time really. I dont care to watch much tv, scouts was off for a while due to covid, no gymnastics, no cross country, tae kwon do, didnt have too much time, but actually had SOME time. I do wear the life jacket, my kids do also. Even wore the life jacket in the pond I tested the motor out on, and it's only about 4 feet right now in the deepest section. I generally wade in deeper pools. -
Where are you located? I have a 10' Lowe with title.

So, I made a small MouseBoat. Free plans offered by Duckworks.com. it was a little small for me, 240ish lbs. I made it out of 1 sheet of 5mm plywood. I then decided to build the Mouse Flyer, sailboat without using it for sailing. I decided I wanted it to be lighter than the first. So I used 1" foamboard. It worked. I then decided I wanted to power it. I built a transom support and it is now powered. I used the PMF (Poor Man's Fiberglass) method. Tight Bond 2 glue, lay canvas and let cure. Add more glue, let cure. Paint with exterior paint. The mesh is concrete board tape, similar to drywall tape. I used that just in case. Not sure if it will make any difference.

Biggest fish in my boat so far.

Thank you for the compliments on the boat. It is still a work in progress. I am actually working on a foam boat now. I will start a new thread soon. -
I've worn sketchers for the last 20ish years. Just seen a throwback picture to prove it. I'm a creature of habit. I found what I liked, they have not quit making them.

... Then the coal company came with the world's largest shovel And they tortured the timber and stripped all the land Well, they dug for their coal till the land was forsaken Then they wrote it all down as the progress of man. And daddy won't you take me back to Muhlenberg County Down by the Green River where Paradise lay Well, I'm sorry my son, but you're too late in asking Mister Peabody's coal train has hauled it away "Pardise" by John Prine

Seriously, this is the biggest fish I've had the pleasure (sort of) to hold. My 14 year old son was operating the boat. We were just cruising along. I was watching forward to make sure we wouldn't hit anything. I heard some banging noise, thought he hit a log, and it would be a second, the log would clear. A second or two later, he yells. I turned around and to my surprise we had a stole away.

St Francis state park. Mooners Hollow Trail. -
Took me 24 years. But I've caught the fish that started my interest in micros. I thought they were orange throated darters, but after catching and seeing the darter behavior, I knew that the fish I first seen were different. While hiking a trail as a younger man, I seen some interesting minnows that I thought looked like tropical aquarium fish. I had no idea how to catch them minus a small net. Thanks to @Johnsfollyfor showing me the ropes, inhale truly finally caught the fish that started my interest. There are quite a few in this thread, these are in the order they were caught. Nature would have it, the best was last. This would be the only male red belly dace I would catch. It came from the last pool on the trail.

Be careful with that chainsaw Oneshot. The most important parts of life include the BIRDS and the BEES.

To those of you who donate to kids. I hope you all realize how appreciated you are. I was that "kid". So that being said, let me say THANK YOU for them. They may never get to thank you, as I will never know who helped me. But, I do know there were many more than I'll ever know about.
