I believe it was 4 years ago that the 3 muslim "international soldiers", temporarily stationed at FLW were hanging around the bagnell dam strip inquiring about scheduling a tour of the dam........and then mysteriously drove their mini-van off a bridge into floodwater and died. Such a tragedy. 🙄

Ok, I got the lowdown today on what all of this is about They are fracking where the swimming pool is/was, pressurizing it, and piping well water to the new hatchery building. So it's "fracking" with compressed air....but for spring water instead of natural gas. Allegedly this is being done separate from the aquifer that feeds the spring. A similar thing was done at the Callaway nuclear power plant to cool the rods, if I remember right.

Since the day I was born I have never been more than 4-5 months without a dog in my life. I tried once but just couldn't do it. They can be (usually are) a total PIA, but I get an unbearable empty feeling in my soul if I don't have some ears to rub.

The White bass and shad are still thick on the backend flats. And when I say "thick' I'm not only referring to the numbers of fish.......The belly's on those bad-boys are about to burst open. A New Years day White bass blitz is very VERY likely to happen here in 2022

Exactly 👍 I learned "bass fishing" in stip pits and farm ponds, and still attack BIG WATER the same way. Pick a cove or creek arm that has a variety of cover & structure options.....and just imagine that it has a dam across the mouth of it. On any given day there are definitely enough fish living in that one confined area to win. You just have to figure out a way to get the fish to bite. Don't leave that cove until you've figured out a good solid pattern. Only then are you smart enough to study a map and go running around the lake looking for other (potentially better) places to fish. It always takes me 2-3 (preferably consecutive) days (FULL DAYS) to put together a solid strategy that makes me feel worthy of competing against anyone. What kind of boat I'm in really doesn't matter as long as it is capable of navigating the water and handling the conditions.

This is why elections go bad. 🙄 The country just needs to be divided into 2 or 3 sections. The fact that we can all live together in harmony is a........Wait......Ahhh! 💡
