Is the lift pump a mechanical diaphragm pump? Have you tried bypassing the fuel quick-connect fitting.....if so equipped ? They are prone to leak, and can easily become clogged.

The insane boat traffic from Linn cr. to the Dam for 6 months of the year kinda gives a large portion of the lake an "off-season". Subtract also the 2 coldest months of the year when only the most hardcore guys are out chasing them, and you only have 4 months out of each year when angling pressure is high. Notice that the upper Gravois, upper Niangua's, and upper Osage (where you can effectively fish all year long) very seldom produces those heavy stringers. It's that mid/lower lake area.....and the release areas.... that continually give up the heavy weights that win derby's.

Oh hell yeah. In the wake of a nuclear holocaust there will be guys out there on all the lakes making sure they can still catch fish during it.

There are people on kayaks at Lake-O all winter. Surprisingly most aren't even doing it to fish.....just paddling along.

The elimination of "Pro's", Guides, etc. in any tournament is rediculous, and proves that tournament organizers know very little about competitive fishing, and even less about psychology. Their mindset is that most guys are afraid to compete against that "caliber" of fishermen. And that truly isn't a factor at all. If it IS a factor then it's a factor ONLY to the "pro"/Guide.....who is leery of having his butt handed to him by some ditch digger in a $2500.00 Jon boat. 🤭

It really sucks for Merc owners relying on warranty replacement. They're boatless until possibly June..... unless they wanna trade for a complete new rig, in which case they are only boatless until February. 🤭

There's definitely no issue with space in the hatchery at BS. As it is they only utilize 1/4 of what they have available to them.
