  1. Maybe, if you have nothing to do besides keeping an eye on them 24/7. Turn your back on them around here....and all you're doing is spending time & money to feed the hawks, foxes and coyotes. I have absolutely no complaints about the pork products that we get locally from RCfarms. It's a family pig lot operation, and I can't even imagine there being better chops, steak, sausage, brats, and loin available anywhere on earth. And nearby "Burgers" has delicious cured hams. Everyone that works at both of those places has BOATS.....So that works out fabulously. 😊 It's just hamburger, corned beef, and the occasional roast for us. None of my family, nor me, are big steak eaters. Beef steaks are a disappointment more often than not, so I have pretty much boycotted it. Excessive chewing is an exercise that I can do without.
  2. Nope. I took it out to the shop and plugged it into the radio out there. The sound-bar and it's cords are fine. The issue is in the TV programming. Also brought the one in from out there....and it won't work when hooked to the big TV either. I have washed my hands of it, as I don't watch TV and couldn't give a $#!t less....EXCEPT for the fact that I know if we can't get it working again then they'll go shopping, and that DOES hurt me. πŸ₯Ί Life just sucks for them without surround sound, apparently. πŸ™„
  3. πŸ˜… Baby got Back! She inherited her momma's booty. I'm sure that it will screw up more than a TV's programming going forward. 🀭
  4. I give you no credit for that..... because the sound-bar STILL doesn't work.
  5. While you have a computer genius on the line, would you mind telling him/her that my daughter sat on the TV remote and now our blackweb sound-bar won't work anymore (it has its own separate remote). We've tried everything. What's the fix?
  6. Yep, seeing quite a bit of that lately. In a few cases only along certain banks where the RF signal from home alarm systems are interfering. Like I said in another thread.....For the next couple years you might be better off sticking with Minn-Kota or Motorguide until these "new kids" figure out all the bugs. But hell.... nobody listens to ME πŸ˜…
  7. Antibiotics and who knows what else....costs money. The purpose of chicken production is to MAKE money, not SPEND money. If the chickens are medicated at all it is probably a growth hormone (not produced synthetically because that costs money, but taken from other chickens because that's free). They are tender because they are YOUNG. Don't eat the raw livers or gizzards and you won't have a single cell of the hormone transported into your body. The proteins from the meat are just fine. Premium actually. Of all people to be concerned about things that are needlessly medicated, we have YOU! That is a genuine side-splitter. πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ˜…
  8. I don't think so. It may be mental though. Maybe a nice clean store bought chicken breast tastes better to me because I didn't watch them walking around in the yard pooping every 23 seconds....and then as soon as one chicken poops....the one directly behind it immediately picks it up and scarfs it down.
  9. πŸ˜… If the age of that boat/motor is the timeline, then I first started warmwater flyfishing with my grandpa during the same era. He was a pretty good caster (as I remember) but the waters we fished had quite a bit of "color" and the longest cast was about 40'. His teaching method was hilarious. You'd get about 10 minutes worth of instruction at the very beginning of the day.....Then, on the drive home, he would either tell you how proud he was of you for listening and trying, or he'd ream your @$$ for not following instructions. I'll never forget the first day I outfished him. He didn't say a single word all the way home 😳 I was afraid he'd never take me fishing with him ever again. He did though....but the 10 minute "instruction periods" at the beginning of the day ceased forever. πŸ˜‚
  10. That was great. πŸ‘ A 4 pounder! πŸ˜‚ This is why we love fish stories.
  11. I bet they tasted alot better than the breasts off those sleazy old yard birds I was raised on.
  12. What in the world makes you think that you know... what he thinks ? Do the secret THOUGHT POLICE report to you? πŸ€”
  13. My grandpa (his name was Glen too) was cleaning chickens once. Us kids would chase and tackle a chicken, bring it to him, and he would grab it by the legs, swing it up on a log, behead it with a hatchet.....and let it flop all over the yard until it bled out. Well he missed once and only chopped the chickens beak off. My Aunt screamed "OH MY GOD, GLEN CHOPPED ITS PECKER OFF!!!" My grandma came flying out of the house totally freaking out.....but then was immediately relieved once she realized Aunt Mary was talking about the CHICKEN.
  14. That right there, πŸ‘† is a Pok. πŸ˜‹
  15. Yet another good point! It sure hasn't hurt my business any, other than the delays on getting parts. I'm going on 3 weeks now awaiting Yamaha prop mounting hardware. Wouldn't you think something like that could just be pulled off a shelf? Guess not πŸ™„
  16. Point !
  17. It's little details like THAT what screw up everyone's thinking process. They just jump right past that, never stopping to consider whether or not a lab in Wuhan even exists.....and if it does.... then whether or not anything related to this "vacation" everyone has been on......even actually transpired there. I can fabricate a story, and in doing so add in some minute little detail, knowing full well that the cleverly planted insignificant detail will stick in your head. Then forever more I will know instantly, when speaking to you, whether or not your brain is exactly where I want it to be in relation to that topic. Try it sometime, it works. Your lesson in psychology is complete. You're welcome. 😊
  18. Wal-Mart, in the cooking isle.
  19. We are up late, solving all the problems of the world so that all of you BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE can rest easily, and wake up 3 hours before the sun rises every day.....to continue your life's goal of packing down the asphalt. A national holiday to appreciate and worship us is forthcoming. It shall be called Curmudgeon Day.
  20. I'm glad you're all healed up. πŸ‘
  21. Yes the threads, thread depth, and head are the same across the years. Some have magnets, but yours doesn't...I don't think. Just break the magnet off if the replacement has one. If you can't find one just let me know and I'll drop one in the mail for ya.
  22. Where I go after bigger bluegills the best presentation is always vertical.....a very slow sink. Some days they will bite no matter what you do, but on "normal" days they want to intercept something that is just slowly going down. Bite detection is tricky sometimes, you gotta keep a tight line.
  23. Remind me to tell you my Brooster the Rooster joke. ☺️
