  1. With all that Chirping, Growling, and Beeping going on, how could you possibly be upset about a Cluck? 😂
  2. Ahh, sponsored by Ranger and Evinrude..... that's why I never hear about it. 🙄 Competitive Fishing has become so political !
  3. I guess they'll take their cell phones away then?
  4. Just out of curiosity.....if MDC was intentionally crossing those species and stocking them heavily into our reservoirs, what would be your reaction?
  5. Seriously ? Where?
  6. I think the coolest thing ever was the old "Match Bass Fishing" format.... if anybody remembers that. 2 guys in a boat, they flipped for the first or second half of the day in which each had control of the boat. Double elimination through the field, until the end. Now THAT was cool ! Why that format lost steam and quit becoming a thing..... I'll never understand.
  7. Yeah I can see where a "Cox Sucker Festival" may not go over too well in the bible belt. 😂
  8. I get it now, ok. When Kevin Short was leading the MLF by a bunch here within a mile of my house we kept an eye on them....and NOBODY encroached on him at all. Watson was nearby but kept a respectable distance. Takahiro did it again in a separate MLF derby here, slightly different pattern but same general area. Again, he had it all to himself all day long.
  9. Don't they fish a completely separate area during each day? That's the way they did it here on LO.
  10. If your concern is that they are catching and scoring the same fish multiple times, I seriously doubt that. I have released a fish and then caught it again a couple times in the past with 12-13" dinks, but doing it intentionally would be really REALLY hard to do....and is certainly not done on purpose. Other than that, I can't imagine what all the pissing and moaning is about. The MLF format is way better for the resource than hauling fish around all day and physically culling.
  11. I'm sure that alot of EMM's have been sold where the tech replaced it, it still blew the fuse, and then they FINALLY discovered the REAL REASON, repaired it in 3 minutes.....and then just let the customer assume it was truly an EMM failure......to cover all the time they wasted on it. Then the perfectly good EMM gets thrown in somebody's truck, goes home with them, and ends up on eBay 😂 Cuz that's how $#!t works in this business sometimes.
  12. To my knowledge there is nothing inside the module that can short the ignition ON circuit to ground. The only thing that does it INTENTIONALLY is the key switch or kill switch....and that portion is unfused. The most likely cause, I would think, is the wire under the console that powers up the gauges.....since they get TINKERED WITH when installing sonar units and such things. There is a TSB on the exhaust valve relay......I guess that ONCE UPON A TIME a relay shorted out and caused the 10a fuse to repeatedly blow during acceleration on a SALT WATER motor. But even that wouldn't blow the fuse simply by turning the key switch ON. It's most likely going to be something simple and stupid to repair, ya just gotta figure it out.
  13. No, it's because I don't want to be mistaken for an escaped prison inmate and shot on sight.
  14. The purple wire powers up everything except the starter (it powers up the ECM, Fuel pump, voltage regulator, and all of the gauges). You should be able to hook up an ohmmeter from purple wire to ground....and then start disconnecting harness plugs until you get an infinity reading, and that will tell you which portion of the harness the problem lies. But first you will have to disconnect the purple wire from the key switch because the purple wire is always grounded through the key switch when the switch is OFF.....but should be ungrounded when the key is ON. It could possibly be a bad key switch, but I've never seen a switch fail in that fashion. I hope that makes sense. 🙄
  15. They are full of bull ! It is mid-May and they are trying (needing) to sell you a whole new boat. If you can hold onto your checkbook until mid-late June there will be plenty of outboards for sale. They'll even pull one off of a rigged boat in order to make a sale then. I promise.
  16. Really? Do you really think you can do serious damage to bones, cartilage, and nerves.....by operating a screwdriver? Highly unlikely. But I'm sure Cox Med. Center would be glad to tear into him and do SOMETHING so they can bing his insurance co. for 20k.
  17. Oh I get it 100% I destroyed my shoulder, and was worthless for 3 months (in excruciating pain for half that time) because I carved a pumpkin. 🙄 I just let it slowly heal on its own. Had I gone to a doctor and let them do a "procedure" on it......I would likely have had trouble with that shoulder for the rest of my life. I'm fine now, no issues at all.
  18. Twice. Both were an immediate success. I love them. One was on 1/2" copper. The other was on 3/4" plastic service line coming from a well.
  19. That sucks! What can Cox medical center do for that? There are much cheaper places to get ibuprofen. Might as well have just gone to the bar.
  20. I doubt that you could find a gravel bar to have lunch on at 1200.
  21. Which part does he supervise ? Animal, Vegetable, or Mineral?
  22. You mean after the mail order tick sorting is complete? Probably start a low budget dandelion study or something, just to keep with the normal agenda... for awhile. You can't just go in there and start lopping off heads immediately. 😁
  23. They should hire ME. I could eliminate about 77 employees immediately. Hell, what they'd save on uniforms would more than cover my wages.
  24. And the cooking oil, and the propane, and the butter, and the salt & pepper, and of course the electricity. Paper towels too. Dish soap. Yeah.... you're failing miserably at this Pioneer $#!t. 😂
  25. Not if it blows the fuse just by turning the ignition/fuel pump on (key only to the RUN position). You may have a fuel pump, or pump relay shorted out. Or it could be a tach or guage shorted out. Better just take it to someone trained to deal with it. I'm 3+ weeks booked right now or I'd offer to diagnose and fix it.
