  1. Grape Kool-Aid gives a rather pleasant tone.
  2. Dog poop rapture. Interesting theory. Do you have evidence to support the theory? Do you have evidence to support otherwise? I have faith, that all the dog turds of your youth await you.
  3. You and Me are probably the only people on the earth that aren't under the influence of some kind of meds. And I'm not 100% sure about YOU. 😂
  4. That's the way I understood it. When the boy becomes a man, they take the diaper off his butt and wrap it around his head.
  5. I'd choose a stoned guy over a drunk, or hungover guy in any occupation, any day.
  6. Keep track of what you experience this year, and let's see. How long (how may springs) have y'all been fishing, anyway? You never paid any attention before? That's just crazy🤔
  7. All dogs go to heaven, and so does their poop. So the next time you step in some, consider yourself baptized. And for all of you folks that say you're going there..... Take a Pooper Scooper when you go because there's probably dog $#!t everywhere.
  8. Yep, me too. People often assume that I am just automatically a decent auto mechanic....but they are mistaken. I absolutely hate working on cars/trucks, therefore I suck at it.
  9. We used to catch those frequently on the middle fork and elk fork of the Salt river. Called them Mudpuppy's.
  10. It ain't a "fanny pack" if I wear it on the side. 🖕 Hip pack maybe.
  11. They used to put out these ads that were somewhat comical. But the message was that "OTHER ROD COMPANY'S will bull$#!t you and pass off an inferior product....but ST CROIX never will. We are here for YOU". And then they take a dump right in your waist pack. 🥴 MFers !
  12. Speaking of abnormal birds, I saw what I think was a baby owl trying to get a drink from my test tank the other day. Can owls fly when they are only about the size of a pack of cigarettes ? He/she looked like a walking/flying lemon.
  13. By "Top water" I'm not sure what you're tossing. I fish WTD baits and poppers on my 6' jerkbait rod, Buzzbaits on my high speed 6'6" spinnerbait rod, WhopperPloppers and Frogs on a 7' heavy jig pitching rig.
  14. The misuse of it is certainly bad for families, but in all honesty I'm not sure that a single road, bridge, building, house, or bassboat could get built nowadays without it. That substance is even fueling many (most?) Amish businesses. An argument could be made that alcohol has done worse (or at least equal) damage to society.
  15. Those tails are long enough to use for tippet material. If the trout are on those, and they refuse your fly......it ain't because your 5-6x tippet spooked them. http://www.troutnut.com/hatch/551/Mayfly-Epeorus-pleuralis-Quill-Gordon
  16. I'd say that St.Croix is on their way out. I just checked their website and nearly every rod they offer is "SOLD OUT". They took a crap on flyfishermen several years ago. Bummed me out because the Legend Ultra and Legend Elite series were my absolute favorite rods for many years.
  17. Hu? 🤔 "You may have a cheeseburger as soon as you prove that you never eat cheeseburgers". 🥴
  18. What? Not a chance. There will be bass & crappie spawning until water temps are in the mid-70's. Peak spawn activity typically is around 72°
  19. My go to technique on Pomme when it is up in the weeds is to fish the edge/lip of the original shoreline. Whether it is 4'-7'-or 11' high....there are always fish relating to the eroded edge of the main shoreline.
  20. When I bought my shortbed/sportside Z71 I feared that I would regret it and miss the full size bed. Never have. I've always been able to haul everything I've ever needed to, the truck turns on a dime and is a beast off-road. And the most important benefit to owning a sportside/shortbed is that I don't get a call everytime one of my friends decides to move. 😅👍
  21. Plenty have been posted here. 😊 Who could possibly want to see any more pics of Wrench with a bass? 🙄 I'm already sick of them myself. 😅
  22. Over the years I've recognized a pattern that in 20+ years has never failed me. Whenever that spring pollen load is laying on the surface it is time to dig out the Sluggo's, Flukes, and floating Lizards and just start running the shallow banks with them. No additional cover (brush, docks, ect.) required. I have sacked many 18-22 lb. limits doing nothing but that during April/May.
  23. I have a Triton here awaiting service that as soon as you turn the Master Power switch on you start smelling wires getting hot SOMEWHERE. There is a ridiculous number of (mostly unnecessary) circuits in this boat and no breakers are tripping. The only solution I have for the guy is to begin a complete rewire......and boy what a project that's gonna be. 🙄
