The only explanation I can fathom is that they are told that this is the "land of FREEDOM".......So they assume that they can come here and just do whatever they please.
Because that's the definition of "freedom", in ANY language, right?
Maybe it's time to re-write that song. 🤷♂️
There was a group (7-9) non-english speaking individuals using the 4-lane boat ramp at the MDC access as a swimming beach.....and they absolutely WOULD NOT MOVE !
They actually got pissed and indignant because guys were encouraging them to move so that they could launch/load their boats.
Somebody called MDC but we were there for over an hour and nobody ever showed up.
I don't understand their mindset 🤷♂️ If you are visiting a foreign country, and a native politely tells you that you are doing something wrong......Do you GET MAD and just ignore them? Hell NO !!!!!
Will do.
As for now the customer is temporarily in shock.....and is pondering the estimate to replace the powerhead.
I'll holler if he chooses to unload it 👍
Back in the 1970's my dad shot a wood duck out of season, and got busted. It cost him 500.00......which was a lot of money back then.
That was my brother and I's. LESSON about following game laws, when growing up. 😳
I would love to know how much those clowns get fined.
It's been 2 decades since I've spent time on Huzzah cr......and either the fishing has improved drastically, or there are a few things I'd like to learn from the Hondurans!
Pretty much 👍
The biggest thing I dislike about jet outboards is that you need to be moving at a pretty good clip in order to have precise steering control.
With a prop outboard you can ease right upstream, and point the nose of the boat exactly where you want......And as long as you're not haulinass the worst your likely to do is scuff up the prop a bit. If it gets too shallow to motor through.....just hit the kill button & step right out..... it'll only be ankle deep. 🤷♂️
I can run Barclay up to Bennett on the Niangua with a 20hp prop outboard on a 16' Jon boat, at all but the lowest flows. There's 5 spots where I have to hop out and pull over some short extremely shallow spots.... mostly because of overhanging trees....but it's definitely not a deal breaker.
Prosperine up to Ho-Humm, and Leadmine up to Blue Spring is easily doable also.
15-18" is all you actually need.
Being naked isn't the main desire. The REAL desire is having nothing that needs to be done..... including shaving, and putting on clothes. 😊
I want the life that my dog has. Lucky bastard!
I'm going through a mental phase right now, where all I truly want is some time where I have nothing that I absolutely need to do.
Just stand on the porch deck, butt naked, with a box of donuts, and watch the clouds go by👍
No phone calls or text messages. No driving. No conversation. Just Peace! 🥰
It's hard for some folks to admit that they dislike something that they paid too much for.
The Bubba batteries are great, I can clean 3 messes of fish on a single charge....no need for the extra battery. But that POS is slow, and the gap between the blades is excessive, so it doesn't saw through rib bones very efficiently.
Ok for Crappie I suppose.....but what knife isn't? 🙄 I can clean a mess of crappie with a butter knife.
My parents divorced when I was 15.
Mom never remarried, but Dad did.
When my dad passed away, 27 years later, my mom started getting paid. She didn't need it, and I'm sure it pissed off my step-mom...... but that's the way it works I guess. 🤷♂️
The big ones around here have a iridescent glowing spot on their belly.
Alien creatures that I don't think I've ever seen before.
Had to sacrifice one to get a pic of it's underside.
