I remember being "woke" after 9-11. The belief before that was that total privacy was a thing. Yet amazingly they had record of every word of every single phone call and text message that was made just prior to the event.

Who is hiding from who ? Surely there's a little box you could put a phone in that would kill the signal, no?

I wasn't sure if you were wanting me to answer or not, thought I already did, but your post was right under mine....and nobody else was answering. No my mind hasn't changed, other than the daily back and forth. One day I'm concerned about getting the virus and surviving....and the next day I'm more concerned about how the effects of worrying about it are going to change our lives for good. The no more handshaking and no more crowded places..... I'm happy about that. Yee Haa! 😊 But the everybody being broke and not able to work part....bad bad BAD. How much different is the effects of this vs.the effects of a hostile country launching a missle at us ?

Who are you talking to? I don't think anyone ever said it was a sham. I feel it's still a little blown out of proportion. Not the being careful and SD part, but the hoarding, panic, and throwing in the towel part. The nationwide reaction to this is going to put the entire country in a bad way. Surely there are ways to work around this that don't involve STAY AT HOME orders, and a sudden halt to all business. I think it needs to be determined whether or not China is truly responsible or not, and if they are.......

She's full of beans. This "stay at home order" changes nothing. Hardware stores still open, auto repair shops still open, Car/truck dealerships still open, fabric and craft stores still open, ect. Outdoor activities are still allowed, and encouraged. A genuine STAY AT HOME ORDER would result in mass domestic violence.

Yep, that area of Shawnee bend was some of the best deer/turkey hunting in the state before they started selling property there. The only access was via foot/dirt bike/4-wheeler. Castaway's resort off SB2 was the last resort on the west side. It was nothing but game trails and forest between there and Shangri-la.

I'd rather just sit at my kitchen table with the window open, and re-spool line all day. 🙄

Never fished the spring run there, but as a general rule you need to run up to the 2nd or 3rd riffle (wherever that may be) and work your way down from there. If they have begun their migration you should find them pretty quickly.

I'd really like to upgrade some diagnostic tools and buy a fresh truck, but for the first time in my life I am debt free (except for student loans which the kid has covered I think)......and I am truly enjoying the feeling of that. I just need to cut some spending and save, which is easier said than done. My credit score is still low from the tornado/divorce fallout, but all of that will be falling off within the next 16 months.

No other lake in the country does that. So why does Lake O gotta have it's own "system"? And a stupid one at that. When I saw that Navonics had adopted it.....I just about lost my cool. 😅

You can bet on it. There's more than enough of that going on during GOOD times. It's amazing to me the caliber of people that are in such a bad way already. Obviously they weren't as "on top of it" as they were pretending to be.

Very sad 😔 Things around here are shutting down drastically. Food and gas is about all that's available in our nearby towns. Alot of small business folks are talking, and acting like, they are throwing in the towel for good. Seems a bit drastic to me, but folks are genuinely scared. Did you not raise it any since the original mounted pic? If not I think you should go up a bit anyway. At least to where the leading edge of the intake is level with the hull. Seriously. If you clip a rock with the forward side of that intake you're gonna break something or knock the motor off the transom.
