  1. Oh no you don't ! Nobody gets to be concerned about TROUT as long as bass keep getting hauled all over the lakes, thrown into livewells....then into bags....then into baskets....then paraded on stage....then thrown back into bags...then dumped into some cove many miles away from their home range area. Over and over again.....almost every day....all year long. No sir! Trout get stocked, cared for, sheltered from giggers, and pampered ENOUGH😍. Bass get none of that kinda loveπŸ˜”. So grab that sumbitch THAT YOU PAID FOR any way you want and let nobody guilt-trip you into all that careful fondling baloney ! πŸ™„ THAT, IMO, is what is worth mentioning. 😊
  2. That's a pretty one! Where'd he come from?
  3. Well now I'm curious. So did they not do a compression and SPARK test before doing anything else ? Why concern yourself about fuel pressure or the condition of the injectors if one or more coils are not firing consistently? I'm not knocking their diagnostic abilities (actually I am....but let's pretend I'm not because doing so is unprofessional) but the quickest/most efficient way to diagnose any outboard problem is to first verify the condition of the powerhead, then verify the condition of the ignition/charging system, and if those both check good you can THEN begin to troubleshoot the fuel system (because getting to a bottom line diagnosis of that system usually takes more time). Not only that.... there's no sense in doing any fuel system work to a motor that has poor compression or erratic spark. I mean anyone that thinks otherwise either hasn't had any training at all, or was hungover and not paying attention on day one of the course. 😊
  4. Very true in many cases, but I have spoken to Todd and he is the type of guy that takes notes, and is not full of unrealistic expectations. Switchbox failures are among the easiest and first things to diagnose when you are troubleshooting a running problem. This particular incident played out like a doctor prescibing a laxative for a stuffy nose.
  5. I'd only encourage someone to get into professional fishing if I recognized that they were exceptionally good at it, and had the drive to soak it all up and never stop. If they aren't searching and reading about it all the time on their own, and wanting to practice constantly.....then they don't have what it takes. The things that they just can't quit thinking about, and doing, are the things they should be encouraged to excel at. Hey Teacher, leave those kids alone ! "Thought control is a form of molestation".
  6. Pretty rediculous if ya ask me. A compression and SPARK test should have happened on day one. But instead we begin by discussing fuel pressure and $#!t. πŸ™„ If I was the service manager at that establishment I would be hated by every wrench turner on the payroll. 🧐 Obviously they have sent all of their decent techs out to do winterization service calls, and delegated all the shop work to Roy, the wheel bearing and trailer bunk guy.
  7. It's a buyer's market right now. The best deals are made in the Fall. 🀠
  8. Has anyone tested the high speed stator output yet ?
  9. At Buckhead ridge on Okeechobee if you don't make it back before 6:30 the lock operator goes home, and you're stuck out there with the mosquitoes and Gators until the next morning. Saw that happen to a group of 3 once and those boys were in a bad way the next morning.
  10. I hope you set her pigtails on fire !
  11. 150, 175, and 200 XRi system test proceedures are identical, the only difference is gear ratio, port timing, and ECU programming. πŸ˜‰
  12. Can't argue with success ! πŸ‘
  13. Looks to me like he tried to climb over the log and the transom dipped under water.....then the current did what current does when that happens.
  14. Yeah the motor isn't in a tilted position, so obviously the hull is taco'ed.
  15. Yeah they are a fishing/hunting family. My dad and John D. were pals for a bit and worked together to get some nursing home legislation reformed. I never hung out with them then but I know Dad thought alot of him. I recall them having a plane crash and I think one of his boys died....or something.
  16. I think escorts get paid by the hour. And with hookers it's piece work. I have no first hand experience with either so that's just an assumption. Not that I'm above it or anything πŸ™„
  17. Shoulda bought two, just in case it turned out to be twins. 😊 I feel the need to point out the irony that me and the sleep therapist are the only ones awake at 3:am. πŸ˜‚
  18. Oh, the curiosity doesn't end there..... Why does it have to be a perfect specimen? Why is 5 minutes with it worth 40-50.00? (good hookers don't even get that much) Why doesn't MoCarp have any feedback to share ? And why does this... remind me of a private message from one of my twisted Facebook friends ? And why do straight men wear shirts with thumb hole sleeves??? I fight my sleeves to keep them PUSHED UP, never once had a problem keeping them DOWN. πŸ€” #gayfashiontips
  19. Wonder how much Missouri land they own? They own a large tract with a couple of spring fed streams in this area also.
  20. www.rentacarp.com. https://www.fieldandstream.com/blogs/flytalk/2012/09/need-short-term-carp-rental/
  21. Try the silicone tail thing like this one has Ones made like this swim like crazy, but honestly (and oddly enough) it is not one of my better fish catchers. Sure is fun to show off though. 😊
  22. Maybe they are. Their position made me think it was a set of dumbell/hourglass weighted eyes. If so they should be positioned further back. A game changer, or any articulated streamer, needs to push water......and that one ain't gonna. Jus'sayin' πŸ˜‰ It's a hydraulics thing, the head needs to stop immediately after a strip....as the tail trys to keep going. That's what makes it kick sideways.
  23. Alot of crappie tournaments get won fishing the Sparrowfoot area during late Summer and Fall.
  24. I went through a wicked shoulder ordeal and they told me it would take reconstructive surgery to fix it, but I didn't believe them because occasionally I would have an hour or three when I could do everything without pain, and.it actually hurt worse when I was resting than it did when I was up doing things. I weathered it out for about 4 months and miraculously it just healed itself. I'll avoid surgery until I'm on the verge of croaking. There were some rough nights though, real rough. And at one point I had been 4 full days without sleep. All good now, still, and nobody got rich off of me. People get impatient and want to feel better NOW, but I firmly believe that your body will heal itself if you can just give it time. I'll admit that if I had been working for someone else besides myself I would have been fired for not showing up to work for so long. Most folks don't have the luxury of taking that much time off of work, or being able to only work in short spurts like I had to do.
