  1. I read through it twice and it didn't make sense to me either time. I figured it was just ME being dense. I guess the part of all of this that makes it seem trivial to me is.... What's the point (or importance) of having a "ruling" on something if it can be swiped off the books and reversed during the very next legislative session? We go to all these great lengths to insure our kids....and their kids...have quality water and good fishing in the future..... For WHAT ? Screw it! Just more stupidity!
  2. That reads like chinese algebra. How can you even know what it means for real?
  3. If I lived closer to Springding I'd sure be there. What's the fun of having it at a pub if you can't have a few and still be legal to drive home ? I have zero money set aside for lawyers and courts.
  4. More tuned to LO than TR, but the first places I like to hit are the closest steep banks to the backends of coves and creek arms. The first fish to show up on back end flats are the bigguns, so I wanna be fishing as close to those areas as the bite will allow.
  5. If everything we live for can be taken away with the stroke of a pen, then what good is it ?
  6. Nice looking batch ol'boy! The time to get them wet is approaching fast.
  7. Active ingredient= muratic acid ? Toilet bowl cleaner.
  8. I think you should have to pass a test....or something. A "license" just for handing over some cash is actually kinda lame. But whatever. The past purchasers of lifetime permits would have gotten screwed if MDC had gotten their funding cuts like everyone was trippin' about, wouldn't they?
  9. I guess I've never hated anyone so bad that I didn't even wanna see what they had to say. Makes me wonder who all has ME ignored.
  10. Oh to be fishing in shorts and a T-shirt !
  11. Outbound is great if you are shooting lots of line while standing still, but the thin diameter running line has a habit of tangling easily when it gets a little twisted. I like Rio Grand or SA GPX floaters and use an assortment of RIO sinking leaders. Works great for me.
  12. Of all places you could go and not be surveilled, I would have expected that to be one. Guess you never know where it's safe to pee.
  13. Yeah, next time don't go home !
  14. It's good, but getting more crowded by the day.
  15. Yup! I'm surprised that I'm surprised.
  16. What a jack off! He is the one that put himself under the tree!
  17. I'm probably not gonna make it.
  18. Do you reckon she hates it so much because it just tears at her heart to be away from you, or because she doesn't trust you alone with your wallet? IOW...Is she afraid that you won't ever come back, or that you'll come home broke with maxed out credit cards? Oh, and she can spell/read OK, right? You are chasing stripers, not strippers!
  19. IMO they have no reason not to manage the Niangua fishery better. They have a hell of a hatchery operation there now that is certainly not needed just simply for the 1 mile of spring creek at Bennett. The whole area would benefit from making that 8-10 miles of the Niangua the best White ribbon stretch in the state. The only thing they'd have to do is actually stock the numbers they claim, preferably float stock it, and monitor the gigging activity some.
  20. The cool thing about these is that if you fish it in long fast strips (like a streamer) the cinched down waist behind the big flat face creates a constant gurgling noise like a buzzbait and the fly wiggles like a crankbait at the same time. Really cool!
  21. You really don't need the cross brace, I have never had one slip or twist around on me....but it wouldn't hurt anything so have at it if ya want.
  22. Those ain't smallies, they're hybrid goggle-eye.
  23. Aww now....Religion is OK as long as you believe in it. No tolerance for nonbelievers though.
