  1. How are y'all balancing out those 10-13' rods ? Glueing a roll of quarters to the butt ? πŸ˜…
  2. Umm hmm. A break from what? Reality? πŸ˜‚ Not a chance. 😘
  3. How successful have you been at collecting all that lead you left in the tree bark? 😁 I probably have littered 6lbs. worth of lead Clouser eyes in Gravois creek. How should I properly dispose of my giant styrofoam target backstop ?
  4. What? ! Wow! πŸ™„
  5. Just curious, was it the skin cancer that killed him......or the doctors while trying to cure him of it?
  6. So as long as it has 2-3 steel pellets in it.... πŸ˜‰
  7. There should be a part# on it somewhere. You may have to remove the prop to find it. As to the 4-blade question.... No.
  8. Nobody is ever going to be out there checking the lead content of anyone's fishing tackle, any more than they are going to be checking the felt content of anyone's wading boots. Has anyone ever had a hand loaded shotshell confiscated so it can be cut open and examined ? Bet not. Lead is here to stay, in whatever shape or form that a person wants.
  9. If you are currently not experiencing troubling interference then you won't get any more by changing the battery.
  10. Unless you're planning to run FFS (Livescope) a single Exide Nautilus 27 MDP (Marine dual-purpose) will power it all, and last through 2 days of pretty hard core fishing. My jonboat rig has one, and it provides starting power for a 35hp outboard, a 12v 50# MK Power drive trolling motor, Lowrance X5 LCR, a livewell pump, bilge pump, and navigation lights. Typically after a reasonably hard day of fishing I still have 70% charge remaining.
  11. Yes that's an overheat sensor lead, and if it grounds out it will activate the overheat alarm. Has nothing to do with tilt/trim though.... that is an entirely different circuit.
  12. Well, I get free private consultations from time to time, where he allows me to have the last word. 😁
  13. I'm still trying to process that one. πŸ€” I'm usually not effected by things people say.... but I don't think I can even share a neighborhood with anyone that says that. 😐 I'm good with everything from Christians to Devil worshippers...... But a man that doesn't like dogs....GTFOH !
  14. I have had a pair of Lacrosse hip boots for quite awhile. I only wear them a couple times a year when fishing for bluegill at a certain pond. A little heavy but they are tough enough to stomp through a briar patch.. Be sure to get ones with the straps that go around your calf, just below the knee, if you are gonna wade through mud.
  15. New York! After watching the Bassmaster Elite derby on the St.Lawrence river.....That should be EVERYONE'S destination. Holy Crap, I had no idea !
  16. Lawn mowers scare ME. This sucker here is scary too If you've ever seen a grinding wheel explode then you shudder everytime you flip the switch on. Those "wheel guards" are a joke. They just direct all of the shrapnel right at your face and chest. It's like having a hand grenade go off in your hands. 😳 These bastards here are my most feared object these days. I sneak up on them and grab them like they are a poisonous snake now. Danger lurks everywhere.
  17. Here's a quiz for ya..... What year did they start putting kill switch lanyards on little tiller outboards? This is important sociatal information, because anyone who began boating after that is officially a Snowflake. I bet it was the same year that bicycle helmets became a thing. πŸ™„
  18. Everyone does. If it isn't meth or street drugs then it's some kind of ever-changing doctor prescribed mood enhancing pharmaceutical stew, or alcohol, and the effects are all pretty much identical. The amount of anti-depressants detected in sewage runoff is proof of that.
  19. Certainly sounds pre-meditated to me. I (for one) know how to properly avoid jury duty though, so no worries. πŸ˜…
  20. During Summer when they are pulling water (20k or more) look for bass to be roaming around hard bottom structure, points, ledges, ect., or just cruising around somewhere within casting distance of some object, such as NoWake bouy cables, in 12-20' but seldom right next to it. When the water is off go straight to the heart of the brushpiles and boat docks. Same depth. πŸ‘ I think of them like birds.....When it's dead calm they'll sit calmly on a limb or power line somewhere. But when there's a breeze they just soar around haphazardly.
  21. I was under the impression that YOU were the victim. We kinda like our methbillies around HERE. They are the only group that actually gets anything done in this community. Without them there'd be no roads, bridges, mail delivery, or utilities.
  22. Ok, well your $#!t got stolen, and nobody is bleeding and screaming yet......So you're failing miserably. πŸ˜‚
