You couldn't be more wrong. OAF is not only about fishing..... it's about people who fish/hunt, ect. having a place to gather and discuss things. All things (pretty much). Blow this pic up and take a close look at the fly that caught her. 🙂 I don't know why, but I almost always catch a walleye on this thing if I fish it during the spring White bass run. And almost always catch a channel cat or 3 when fishing it in the fall out on the flats.

#4 and #2 for me. I use the next size bigger blade on the #2......and that's the one that'll really hurt you if you don't pay attention to your casting loop. 😁

For the life of me I can't understand the fascination everyone has with SKULLS. Everywhere you look, people wearing T-shirts, bandanas, hats, motorcycle helmets, and even shoe laces with SKULLS on them. Skull stickers on their cars, ect. A crackhead up the road even has a skull on his mailbox. Can anyone explain the meaning of displaying a dead body part on everything a person owns ? What is the meaning of this? When I see a skull I think of DEATH. How do so many people enjoy seeing that ? And now we have skull jig heads 🙄I just don't get it. 🤔

I've always heard that too, but I've yet to clean a White, Hybrid, or Mutt AROUND HERE with a crawdad in its gut. And I've knifed a bunch of them. Might be a different story further south.

It's not "hard" to cast, but you do have to adjust your loop a little or you'll risk getting a lump on your noggin.

Pretty much, yeah. Really ugly, but boy it got way more bites than everything else on quite a few days. Here's one I'm kinda anxious to show the Whites this Spring. I think they'll eat it.

Hey, did I tell you about my Olive over Tan with root beer flash experience last year ? You wouldn't think that color combo would be all that big of a deal..... but man-oh-man, last year it was a FOR REAL thing.

Yeah I wouldn't like that either. I throw a bulkhead deciever on a 4 ips line quite a bit, and I can get it about 3' deep easily on an average presentation. But I'm seldom trying to fish it across heavy current. You probably need something with lead eyes or a cone head for that kinda water, if you really need to get it deeper.
