  1. They have definitely made a pretty good come back we were getting into them good last year. Most of them were only 8-10 inches long with a few bigger ones thrown in. But sure was a blast getting into them with a tiny torpedo.
  2. Haven't heard if they are catching any walleye below the dam or not. I haven't noticed a lot of cars parked down there, but with the Corp running water like they are right now there may be a few to be had. With the lake coming up like it is be careful going up in the river there will probably be a lot of trash coming down.
  3. Most of the people that I know that chase the whites in the spring go up the river. Don't really know about the walleye up the river I usually catch several this time of the year while bass fishing the lake. I know they catch several walleye and crappie below the dam when they are running enough water for the walleye to get up there.
  4. RangerR83 I sent you a pm.
  5. Ok will get ahold of him.
  6. I've got friend with a 1998 Tracker tournament 175 with a 40hp Force by Mercury.
  7. Don't know if I have ever seen anything like that for Pomme. All I know is all the years I've been on this lake it is pretty much always somewhere between 839 and 841 unless there is a lot of inflow or lack of rainfall.
  8. Pomme is normally held at about the same level year round. Of course that changes if we get a lot of rain they will hold it back off of Truman and LOZ.
  9. They normally try to keep it at around 840 but while talking to a game warden on the water awhile back he was talking like the Corp was going to bump that up and shoot to maintain it around 841. Not sure if that is going to happen but would like to see it happen.
  10. Nice brown. Really been enjoying your videos.
  11. Haven't really been down by the water since this cold weather. But did see a few dead shad and some not getting around very good when we were out a few weeks ago. Not recent information but best I got. Good luck.
  12. Good luck to you too. Scott
  13. Main lake is clear and just a thin skim in our cove. Probably be a little heavier in the morning but would think it will be pretty much gone by the weekend. Plan on getting out this weekend too.
  14. They are fishin with the owners of Cedar Creek jerky from Eldorado Springs. Like most have said not my favorite show but will watch since it's a local lake.
  15. Haven't been out. Planning on going this weekend but driving across the dam looked clear except for the backs of the pockets they were muddied up.
  16. I didn't do any good on bass yesterday only fished 1 short channel bank without a bite. But one of my crappie spots was right by that bank so tried it and started catching some Crappie so stayed there till I had to head in. Only had a couple hours to fish but did catch around 10 crappie and 2 white bass.
  17. Maybe I should try Nanofil again tried it a few years ago and thought it was way too stiff and didn't like it. I prefer braid with flourocarbon leader.
  18. The times he has came over and we visited he definitely had some good stories.
  19. I have gotten to know Jerry since I moved here 3 years ago. But unfortunately haven't had the chance to fish with him. Hope to get with him this coming up year and see if he wants to go do some fishin.
  20. Good job, was planning on going out today but had to many things to get done.
  21. I'm hoping it will turn on before long waiting on the water to cool off some. As for the color combination it was the 2001 FLW Kellogg's boat.
  22. 2001 Ranger 520 and 2001 Yamaha 225 OX66. Spend most of my time on Pomme De Terre. If you're over that way and see me on the water stop and say hey.
  23. Long range forecast shows around 50% chance of rain every day next week.
  24. Hopefully it will come up but so far the rains we have gotten haven't raised it a bit.
  25. Yeah they definitely have an awesome strike on top water.
