  1. I did tear it down the cage came apart on the center main bearing. It showed it as a crankshaft assembly included the crank all 3 main bearings the rods and oil pump drive gear.
  2. Actually it still shows it available on boats.net for a grand total of $798. Not worth it to me lol.
  3. Have a 1988 Yamaha 25 hp tiller outboard with a bad center main bearing don’t want to spend what it will cost to fix it. Everything else on it is good. Would like to get $300 for it or make me an offer.
  4. This is a duplicate ad because my account got screwed up and signed me in under a different screen name. Anyway I have basically a brand new 25 pitch Turbo TXP prop for sale. No nicks dings or scratches. Paid right at $500 asking $450.
  5. I wanted to give it a try but I just don't like fighting the crowd on a holiday weekend.
  6. Once the water warms up some I find them around docks in the backs of coves. Usually can use the throw net and get them in the back of our cove.
  7. Won't be as busy as this weekend but will be plenty of boat traffic next week I'm sure. Last couple of weeks parking lots at the dang boat ramps have been full.
  8. Most of the bass I'm finding are in 6-10 fow and we are hammering the crappie in less than 4 fow. Plastics have been best for me on the bass and Bobby Garland baby shad on 1/24 oz heads for the crappie. Lake is clearing up but still stained.
  9. Had some friends catching them right on the bank Saturday both males and females. But I'm sure that has changed since this cold weather moved in.
  10. I haven't had a chance to go look yet but my boy has found a couple of nice bunches the last 2 days. They were mostly Grey's so the bigger morels should be up soon. Get out there and get you some to go with those crappie fillets.
  11. Glad you're getting it all worked out. I've managed to get out a few times and catch a few bass in the last week. Those fish in the channel of Galmey cove you were seeing are there all year long .
  12. Where should be 3 or 4 screws that hold the carburetor to the top of the fuel tank and 2 bolts that attach it to the motor take them out and lift the carburetor up and out of the tank. The rigid line you're talking about is the breather tube from the crankcase vent. The fuel pump is part of the carburetor the plate on the side of the carburetor with 4 screws holding it on in the 2nd picture is the fuel pump. The carburetor has 2 pick up tubes coming out of the bottom of it that go straight into the tank that's where it gets it's fuel. Like aarchdale said pull it off and take it apart and clean it they are simple little carbs. Also while you have it off you can remove and clean the tank. If it truly is not firing the plug you may have to pull the recoil starter cover off and clean up and check the gap on the pick up coil and may just be the plug.
  13. Had a few friends tell me yesterday that the Corps of Engineers had called tournament directors advising them that they were cancelling all tournaments. Was wondering if Mopanfisher could offer any more information?
  14. I fished the USA Bassin on Pomme last year. Willie runs the Stockton tournament and is a great guy. Can't remember how much membership fee was but entry fee was $70 a boat.
  15. When we do fish for Walleye we do best trolling crank baits that will dive around 12-15 ft. an long flat points or big flats and following the break lines right around 15 ft deep. Never claimed to be good at catching them but we usually catch a few.
  16. Welcome to the area I live just outside of Galmey. Get with me if you need anything. Also if you need lumber I can usually buy it just as cheap locally at Pitts lumber between Carson's Corner and Hermitage.
  17. X2 on the suspending jerk bait usually catch a few in March and April fishing Pomme on jerk baits while bass fishing. Good luck to you.
  18. Terrible tragedy prayers go out to the families. Really makes you think about all things that can happen.
  19. If it has really heavy oxidation you may have to wet sand it first then buff it out. I had a Procraft at one time that I had to do that to.
  20. Moonshining would be better 😁
  21. I had 3" of rain in the Galmey area before the little bit of ice and snow we had.
  22. I've caught a lot of blues below Truman and I'm sure the one I caught last year was a blue. As far as the two brothers like I said it was a lot of years ago but I remember them bringing in several over 20 lbs. But it was long enough ago I may have been mistaken as to what they were.
  23. We were catching some crappie a few days ago off of brush piles that were in about 20' of water some buddies have been catching them off standing timber. As far as blues go I caught one bass fishing last year. Used to be a couple brothers that caught quite a few on trot lines but that's been like 30 years ago.
  24. Merry Christmas and Happy New year to all of my friends and fellow Pomme fishermen.
  25. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's to all O.A.F members.
