Scenic Overlook / Taneycomo
aarchdale@coresleep.com replied to Brian K. Shaffer's topic in Photography
I used to drive a vending truck all over Branson. Every Thursday i would pick a nice spot at the lake at Big Cedar to do inventory. In the Winter the vending business was very slow and my route would be done in 4 hours so i would stop at the trout docks at Taney and cast a line. It wasnt an hourly job, just didnt want to get back to the shop in Springfield to early. -
Is it just me or does that guy make bass fishing way to complicated. I dont think he has ever had a day where he didnt absolutely smash them. lol

I do sleep studies, so first thing i tell my patients when they get to their room they can take off the mask, not like they are going to sleep with it anyways. Also if i put a patient on a CPAP that has Covid it basically aerosolizes the whole room so unless i was in full PPE head to toe i would be exposed. A lot of sleep labs quit putting people on CPAPs for a while and just would do a diagnostic test

Im still trying to figure out how i have avoided it this whole time, Im on the road 2 weeks a month going in and out of different hotels and hospitals daily. I see them wheeling people in and out of the Covid units, which the Covid units at these small hospitals i go to are usually just a sheet up plastic strung up in the hallway. I have people breathing and hacking around me all night. Not a lot of hygiene in a lot of these small communities i go to.

Yes chains are not very good, My first hint is if i cant smell the smoker going before i walk in, or once i walk in if it doesnt smell great

Wrench Ancestors?
aarchdale@coresleep.com replied to grizwilson's topic in General Angling Discussion
I always get a new Battery every 3 years just to be safe. I run two 9" screens and a 7", livescope and livewells running. I ran thats stuff all spring and summer without any battery problems. The Starter has done this periodically for the last 12 years. I bought it from my dad. I know when i got it a few years back the house Battery was 7 years old and toast, so im sure he ran it with low voltage, maybe time to just get a new starter to be safe. I under my hood there is a pull rope that i have always dreaded trying to use -
Wrench Ancestors?

This boat has always been weird its like the bendix will kick out and disengage after you have cranked it a few times. I will say the last couple trips i noticed when i start the boat my front graph loses signal. Ill clean the connections and see what happens. The battery is a Pro Guide less than a year old. -
Grinding on the rock w Fishrman

My little guy and i caught a few, and a lot of short fish. they were stacked up just not eating, even with minnows........played with a different color on livescope and it really filters out a lot of the "static" Anyone with livescope i recommend trying diffferent color options, the amber which is what you always see on advertisements sucks to me, but everyone has different eyes. -
Turd Polishing
aarchdale@coresleep.com replied to MrGiggles's topic in Tips & Tricks, Boat Help and Product Review
keep the updates coming, not sure why but ive followed this whole thread and like hearing you an wrench go back and forth. And a while back Giggles diagnosed my issue with my truck, new injectors and im all good. Good mechanics are worth a lot... i appreciate both you guys. Wrench has helped me out a few times at no charge. Im mechanically inclined but not at your guys status. -
Wrench Ancestors?

Ill be honest i use a lot of Harbor Freight wrenches and sockets for light stuff. I think it is good enough for the guy like me that just has to work on stuff when needed. Ive used high quality stuff before and if i did it for living that is what i would buy for sure. I keep cheep a cheap harbor set of sockets in my boat... Even got to use the ratchet today, my starter didnt want to engage, so i hit it a few times..lol. My 6 year old was worried we were going to spend the night on the lake. bendix doesnt always engage on the ol girl, time for more dry lube -

Thanks for the report. Ill be around Cape Fair tomorrow with my little guy, hopefully find a few crappie -
I wish i had the actual number of Rock Crawlers i have lost over the years. Anymore i, partial to the Luck E Strike G5. IT doesnt run quite as deep, but man it gets the bites, and they have some good looking colors

I never even pay attention to the ads. Barely even know they are there. If someone old enough to be offended by the ads can navigate and read the forums im sure they have already seen or heard way worse.

Questions about GMC Sierra's
aarchdale@coresleep.com replied to Maverickpro201's topic in General Angling Discussion
I just got a new VW and they say 10k between oil changes. IT is just so hard to believe that is ok. I change the oil in my 06 Hemi Ram every 4k and she has over 250,000 on it now and never have any issues besides electrical BS -
Got out this morning to test it out. seems the update fixed the reverse issue when spot lock is engaged. I spot locked right next to a buoy with a decent head wind. I think it held about as good as it was designed too. IT would go 4-5 feet in front and then fall back behind the buoy periodically. It's at least usable now, nothing like my old Motorguide Xi5 but it will do

I actually dont have my troller linked to my graphs yet, i have the stuff to do it but just havent messed with it yet
-
after the hour update it says i still have version 3.00 and not the new 4.10. I mean WTF am i doing wrong. Guess ill call again. EDIT: ok i closed out my app restarted my phone and troller and now the app says i have version 4.10....geez i dont know what to believe

Questions about GMC Sierra's
aarchdale@coresleep.com replied to Maverickpro201's topic in General Angling Discussion
I got so tired of my tire sensors with new wheels, i just put them in a pressurized pvc pipe with a shrader valve and threw it in the back, almost a year now and the lights have stayed off -
Questions about GMC Sierra's
aarchdale@coresleep.com replied to Maverickpro201's topic in General Angling Discussion
my mechanic buddy has a 5.3 with almost 300k on it. He says they are one of the most reliable engines out -
doing the update now, finally got it to connect, no clue why it wouldnt even show up last night on my WiFi. So basically do the update and see if that fixes the spot lock issue. I talked to a buddy last night that has had the same troller since they first came out. His used to spot lock just fine, but he said now it isnt usable, his motor tries to twist the cable in half. He has never done an update either, so it must have lost its GPS signal somehow over the years
-
yep, im calling them today. At least Garmin does have good customer service
-
Tried to update, it wont even connect What a piece of monkey dodo for $3100. about ready to unbolt it let her drop, would make better structure than a troller
