  1. My Jeep is my tow rig, life is good. Jeeps suck as daily drivers and tow rigs but it is fun
  2. Cliff Pace with a 10lber first thing
  3. The topwater bite is on around Bridgeport, caught over 30 yesterday on a sexy dog. They wouldnt touch a plopper. None in open water, they were all tight to the bank. Only one keeper but it was fun
  4. I saw more stupid things today from the guys with more money than brains. Up flat creek here comes a new z21 flies river right of that brush pile in the middle that everyone fishes. I know there are stick ups that are just barely under water right now, somehow he missed them. I know exactly where they are but still wouldnt every feel comfortable on plane trying to dodge them. Next up brand new Ranger out in the James, has the whole channel decides to be nice and come of plane to "idle" pass me at about 6-8mph. Waves over my bow. He waved like he was doing me a favor. Later on i see the same ranger running about 30mph with a 10 foot rooster tail porpoising like crazy. Then my favorite was the brand new nice big Crestliner at the ramp. He hit the trailer at about 10mph, about cought air and just stuffed the nose of it to the front of the trailer, and then floored it to make sure it was all the way up... Totally amazed by people
  5. My brother got a new Ford and it has these little sticky sensors you stick on the trailer so it knows where it is and can help you back. He tried it once and said it was a pain in the but. He said if you had never backed a trailer it would probably help but if you know how it totally throws you off
  6. Ill second McCallister Marine. I needed my opti hooked up to a mercury computer to prime the oil pump. Called around and Sport Boats wanted $100 for a 5 minute job. I hooked up and decided to take it to Ulrich but i stopped by McCallisters on the way just for the heck of it. He brought his lap top out hooked it up and was done with it. He charged me $20 and saved me a lot of extra time and driving
  7. Just t Just talked to Ketchup and he can get to the site but not into the forums
  8. I would thin it would be pretty tough to transport a fish the along alive unless you had a stock tank in the back of your truck
  9. Water temp came up 10 degrees since friday in flat creek. I caught a few. My little boy was more interested in the boat ride than fishing
  10. All ours were shallow too, couldn't keep the small ones off the Ned, couple on spinnerbaits and shakey heads, couple on jigs. No real pattern. Just a luck deal o catch a keeper... we probably caught 50 fish with 6 keepers all day
  11. yep thats what i did. cylinder #2 came back to life. Off to spend another $175
  12. I think i got it figured out. I got a inline spark tester and #2 wasnt getting much fire just barely a little light. hooked it up to the other cylinders and it a big nice bright light. Swapped some coils around and found that one isnt working worth a hoot. When i took the actual plug out i could see it getting fire but i guess it wasnt enough
  13. Ok, thanks, can i just swap the suspect injector with one that i know is working and fire it up to test? I doubt its the reeds, i put Chris Carson reeds in it about 18 months ago
  14. yep its the 1.5 3cylinder, my manual says 108 fuel, 94 air
  15. Okay, got everything back together, couldnt do a pressure test because the tester i had only went to 100 PSI. I had it running in the drive way on water and i pulled the top spark plug wire off and it died, pulled the middle off and it kept running smooth, bottom off and it died. Did a compression test and all three test at 115. What should i look at next? Injector maybe?
  16. im slowly getting rid of my Lews for Tatulas. I love mine
  17. Its all those Northern guys
  18. Since were talking terminology. Is it Smallmouth or Smallmouths when talking about more than one. I dont know whats proper but i hate when i hear people add an S. I never hear people say Largemouths
  19. They changed it this year to the top 3 in points in each open division is who goes to the classic. They got rid of the win one and your in.
  20. The Taney Bass would just gobble up those little TR bass
  21. Only 50 limits out of 197. Ouch... And half of the guys are fairly local
  22. My boat was running great the other day and then i stopped and when i tried to move it would idle but would not get on plane just bog down. So i started tearing things down real slow checking gaskets and O-rings, rebuilt the external fuel pump. Then i opened up the air and fuel regulator to check on those diaphragms ( read a lot online how these are problematic). And sure enough one is messed up. Not sure if this will fix the idle but wont get up on plane problem. Once i get it back together ill test the air and fuel pressure. Might be the high pressure fuel pump or the booster pump in the VST What else should i check wrench? It has good spark, fresh gas, fresh plugs, and fuel filter
  23. I have a small tear in a air regulator Diaphragm. They are absolute thieves $210 for a rubber Diaphragm the size of a half dollar. Not to mention a $100 tool that is necessary to install it without damaging it. Found the part on ebay, the only option i could find from the dealer was them selling me a $700 complete fuel rail.
