  1. Sounds like my experience with Lews spinning gear. Dont get me wrong i love there baitcasters but the Lews spinners are not that good unless you go high end. I have a lews gold spinner that is good so far but nothing like my Diawa Procyon.
  2. If you go home it will end up being sunny and beautiful. Ill be there, It cant be as bad as the last one at Table Rock.
  3. You guys must be hard up, the boys on BBC (at least the ones who arent banned) buy those in cash......If i had the means i still dont think i could pony up for a new boat, just seems like such a loss after a year. Illl stick with my beat up tracker until the sleep study business gets better. Hint Hint If you sleep like poo give me a shout
  4. The Tin boat Tourney is on Saturday at Stockton. Weather looks to be pretty standard for our tourneys. 48 degrees with 100% chance of rain
  5. Well my plan was to catch crappie, Flat creek was a muddy mess, so the crappie deal didnt work out. Had a few bass rods with me and caught a few cranking, Nothing to exciting, Home by 1
  6. Had a RT188 that just couldnt quite keep up with the little ole tracker this morning at Cape, Bet that stung a little. That being said, i still want one. HAHA those ranger Tin cans are pretty sweet
  7. Yes, i have caught them on random occasions. My buddies catch them a lot on accident when bass fishing. I saw a guy a few weeks ago by the boat house that had a bucket full of them. There are definitely crappie in there
  8. HAHA thats a kick in the groin to all you Ranger boys
  9. Probably needs some new plugs after a few hours of double oiling
  10. Haha i still feel bad for you about that
  11. Im sure Stockton will break it again on the 22nd. Im still blaming that lake haha
  12. I love my Xi5 but when the computer on it fried it was like pulling teeth trying to get a new mother board. Took them 3 months and numerous phone calls before they sent a new one, and it was under warranty. They even told me they sent one to shut me up for a couple weeks. Turned out they never sent it and had to start the process over.
  13. Tackle warehouse carries them now and the smaller profile airtail wiggler.
  14. Those look like a pain in the but to make, ill stick to pouring simple stuff
  15. I like the grande bass air tails for shakey heads they stand straight up
  16. WHat do you guys think of this https://www.perfectionlures.com/.
  17. Both, caught some right on the bank, and then others out on isolated timbler. Never had my jig more than 5 feet under my float
  18. Launched at Bridgeport a little after 7 this morning water temps around 59,tried my normal spots at BP with no luck decided to run up the James a little. Caught a keeper here and there. Kinda like other people are saying 1 or two per brush pile and then move on to the next. Drove all the way up to McCords Bend. Didnt see anything that got my blood flowing so decided to run to Flat Creek and see if i could get back there without ruining a prop. Water was very muddy at the mouth but when you got passed the bridge it was nice and clear and 64 degrees. I caught a limit in no time once i got back there, No secret spots. Just casted my 1/32 ounce jig in there with a weighted bobber at any brush they would eat it. They were a lot more bunched up in Flat Creek. Loaded up a little after 2 with a limit. Tried a lot of different colors, had the best luck on Blue Thunder. Good luck!!!

  20. I like all my Baitcasters in a 6.4:1 or somewhere close. If there all the same it is easy to just adjust the speed you reel and not worry about how fast you should reel because of the ratio... Just my opinion though. im sure some vets will have some better advice
  21. Where can we find those inhibitors at?
