  1. Thats how i felt on stockton last year in the tin boat tourney. Still pissed at that lake, fried my troller, caught one lousy fish and beat the crap out of me and my boat
  2. Couple of over rev faults codes in that Merc Computer
  3. Im not gonna be able to make it, Just sent off my fuel system to get cleaned and it wont be back until Mid march. Hopefully itll be ready for the Tin boat tournament
  4. Nothing better than re-purposing some old wood. I used to Trim a lot of custom homes and that old barn wood was worth its weight in gold
  5. Zona and Mercer are ruining B.A.S.S. in my opinion. FLW is so much easier to watch
  6. Bass university has to be the worst fishing show i have ever watched. Watching those guys "try" to net a fish just makes me want to push them overboard. stabbing at the fish and totally missing them with the net, hooking the lure on the outside of the net, it isnt rocket science.
  7. I Definitely gotta get my aluminum wrapped before Tin boat season kicks off.
  8. 30 with a full load, Guess it depends on the tracker, mine is the TXW so it is fairly wide for a 17... I put a bigger motor on since then and couldnt believe how much better that Hull responded. You can trim it up and it rides way back on the hull and handles so much better. I had no real complaints about my 60, just a little slow. Trackers just tend to come pretty under powered from BPS
  9. My tracker had a 60 and it was a dog. Can't imagine a 40, and resale would suffer. I'm in ozark too. The way I look at it is it only takes 10-15 minutes longer to get to table rock than fellows
  10. I cant speak for Humminbird, but with Lowrance my newer chirp is so so much better than my old gen2 HDS. Much more detail
  11. Ketchup is working on the schedule and info now, He will post it soon
  12. https://www.amazon.com/Runleader-RL-HM035R-tachometer-snowmobile-waterproof/dp/B01FZ100K8/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1485518719&sr=8-12&keywords=spark+plug+rpm+gauge Anyone ever use something like this... wondering how accurate they are. My factory tach is all over the place and i just cant justify buying the MercMonitor
  13. Smalls and Crackin, you guys should def join the club this year, we dont get to serious about it. Just out to have a good time, HP doesnt catch the fish, as long as you have a livewell your set
  14. Springfield lake is a 6hp limit, i used to take my boat with a 60 on it with the prop off and no one ever said anything, security even stopped and said it was fine as long as i dont use the big motor. No ramp now, i really doubt they will put one back in. It is over populated with kayaks anyhow
  15. Ive fished with Ketchup, He is a little sketchy at times, but not a bad guy to have in the boat! LOL
  16. Ill be there, In a Red Tracker 175 with an Opti. Probably be 10 red trackers LOL. We usually put in at Scotty's ramp downtown and motor up to avoid the chaos at the Cooper ramp
  17. Maybe the Ned should be outlawed to since it is a fish catching machine. Ive thrown the a rig plenty but it isnt as simple as just throwing it out, ive never caught a real big ones on it. I dont like throwing it but i dont think it is hurting the bass pop at all. I hate that tournament trails are banning it, perfectly legal way to fish. All us fisherman are always looking for that perfect bait. Why ban the :"perfect bait" when it come along. And most tournaments that arent "pro" allow it.
  18. You better get to shopping, You can always ride with Me!!!
  19. Figure of speech dude. Just saying when almost anyone goes "Bass" fishing they dont target 12" fish. Although my dad throws a rooster tail off the back of my boat all the time and catches plenty
  20. Thats the truth. I like seeing how guys catch keepers. I could put on a rooster tail and go catch 12 inchers all day, but thats not why these guys are the best
  21. Honestly after a couple episodes it gets boring, guys catching mostly little bass and talking about how STRESSED they are the whole time. It is neat to see it on a familiar lake though. I know they are all very competitive but they dont have any entry fee on the line. Such a small field they are all showcased pretty well. I guess i just dont get why they are all so stressed. Just the fact they are on the show to start with is great for them and their sponsers
  22. Well, you know i like to overkill a little bit with things
  23. I knew we should have been trolling but i kept hoping those little crappie on the brush would turn into big crappie. We were in the back of Trigger, in a red tracker
  24. Were you trolling around kdock. I think I saw you
