Repairing rod tip

I heat them up all the time and wiggle the tip off with needle nose, just heat it enough to get it twisting back and forth and you will be fine -
My buddy has had his break twice and hes the one that noticed mine starting to fray. He said he could get his up and down, just a pain to do it all day. I guess im still under warranty, i got mine back in 21

i saw a guy do that this spring and it deployed half way. So I gave him a ride to his boat. My Force is getting more difficult to pull up and my cable is starting to fray. I call Garmin yesterday and before i hung the phone up with them i had a notification on my phone that a package was being shipped. They are sending me a new handle/cable, new spring assist and a bushing kit all for the low cost of 0 dollars. They really make things easy

Fished our club tournament out of Cape today. I ran around and and burned up the gas, Caught them all deep 20-30 ft. We had 9 keepers with a 4-15 for our big, We caught them basically everywhere between Cape and KC, no real pattern, just fished what looked good. Wish i had a report with better details. All our fish were caught on shad imitating baits, but after i drained my livewell it was full of craw body parts. I am happy to say everyone took good care of their fish, we had everyone let them go over deeper water so they could get down quick. 14-3 to win

I would be happy to pay a couple bucks a month -
Lots of these guys are paying for their graphs. They know the is a benefit for all of them. Many off them are not sponsored anymore because they want all of them. Key is getting sponsored by Garmin so your not lost in the mud.

I gotta think they are just shad in those bellies the graph was showing more shad than ive ever seen anywhere, i got close to the bank and you could see them. The bass were pushing the shad up on the dry land. Pretty fun to watch. Small shad 1.5-2" tops.

Launched in Flat creek, WT 76 seemed pretty dead in there so we went up the James a bit. Stopped and fish a brush pile and the whole pocked just started boiling. The bass had us surrounded so we sat there for about 2 hours and never quit catching them. One of those in the right place at the right time. I dont think it would have mattered what you through at them they would eat it. When they weren't chasing shad on the surface I would throw a jerker and catch them that way too. We left them biting. Little man was tired of catching them. Multiple times we were both hooked up, Those two he was holding we caught at the same time, they werent in the live well for a hero pic. All Largemouth and they were fat

Hey, looks like they are going to work, thank you

Best i got was 52, but before i flashed it with the 75 it was low to mid 40's. I didnt really mess with the motor height or props when it was the 75 because i knew i was getting it flashed and didnt want to spend more on props.. It gets real expensive chasing every last mph. I had a 6 inch plate on mine and with the 75 hanging off the back it really made the nose of the boat high. Kinda like fishing up hill. Those boats are already a little nose high to begin with. Ive been in someone else's that has a 75 4 stroke mounted straight to the boat like it came and its a perfect set up, pops up on plane quick an will run low 40's no problem.

I had a 175TXW whch is basically the same boat. Started with a 60hp 4 stroke. Then i got a 75 optimax and it ran really good. Had the opti Flashed to a 115, Put a Jack Plate on it and spent way to much money chasing speed. IT was fun and fast. IF you are going to upgrade just go with the 75 to keep it legal. The 75 is plenty on that boat and will get you running in the 40's.

do you have any center caps to make them purty? Im needing some tires just trying to figure out if those wheels woud fit on my trlailer

Luck E Strike New Owner

They need to bring back the old RC stick baits too. The G5 crank is awesome though -
I troll for walleye a lot. The remote has such a delay as does the troller controls from the graph that i have found them hard to use, maybe on the Great Lakes in open water but when your following a bank line on Bull Shoals i feel like they are unusable. I now put my rods in the rod holder adjust the speed of the troller with the remote and use my outboard as a tiller to steer. I had the motorguide Xi5 before and that remote was great and could use it with no problem.

I have found that connecting my Garmin to my graphs has no benefit what so ever to me, Same when i had a motorguide that connected to lowrance graphs. IT sounds cool but i never have found it useful. Trying to control the motor from a graph is just a pain in the butt

I picked up the last 2 remaining jointed surge shads at bait wrx and had to give them a shot. That one i caught on it came shooting up out of a brush pile in 20 ft and nailed it -
Havent been to the clear water in a long time. Caught them all over the board, top water, neds up shallow, spoons 40ft deep. I dont have a good report, i say fish how you want!!! Water temp 73 when i left on the Garmin. Water is crystal clear around KC

Turns out i didnt have to go to the lake to get a bass today, My 8 year old went to the neighborhood pond overflow and found a 3 inch largemouth, brought it home in his hand, now im nursing it to health in a minnow bucket. I guess it would have died if he left it in the drainage. hopefully we can take him back to the pond in the morning.....but it already has a name
