  1. Im thinking of hitting Beaver Creek tomorrow, if i do ill def. post if i fail or succeed
  2. My 5 year old picked that one out when i was there the other day with him. One of the guys that worked there came out and gave him a Boat Works hat. seem like good people up there. Unfortunately we had to leave the Bass Cat. Gonna stick with the ole trusty ProCraft for a few more years
  3. I was getting ready to call you the biggest hypocrite alive. LOL
  4. Yep thats the ones, couldnt remember the name
  5. ITs pretty good, did you see the new copy cat looking rock crawlers? They have really good looking colors and i think they told me they are made out of Cassville
  6. Group 27 Proguide and they are all hooked to the cranker
  7. Hmm... I run 3 Garmins with the scope and still havent ever had any battery issue
  8. Well i just looked at the Mo conservation website and the new limit starting Jan 1 this year is 30 per day. Not sure how i didnt hear about this
  9. Launched about 10 am and had a two man limit in 4 hours. Water temp 57 ish. I used artificial and my buddy used minnows..Minnows did a little better but not much. All fish were caught in 15ft or less on brush. The big ones arent shallow yet, only one that was 14.5". Most were just solid eaters 10-12 inch. Color on plastic didnt seem to matter to much. White, Patriot, Albino shad, blue thunder all seem to be good in the Bobby Garland baby shads
  10. Ill let you know if i head down that way. Gonna hit Bridgeport and Flat Creek tomorrow for a bit on Table Rock
  11. I was thinking about going next week. Whats the launch situation
  12. Ive been back there so many times and never once have i seen a kayak back there, they tend to venture out to the deep water even though they pride themselves as being able to go shallower than bass boats......Im just still mad about the kayak out in the middle of the lake I almost hit one morning before sun up. No lights or anything, It left a bad taste in my mouth
  13. I remember a couple guys talking about it on here a couple years ago, im sure someone will chime in
  14. Some type of restricted area. On my Garmin map it actually says "Entry Restricted". I just play dumb there is good water back there
  15. That the truth, its changed a lot with all these sit on top Kayaks. My brother and i used to just itch for a flood no matter is it was middle of winter or summer. I remember plenty of times putting in on the Finley when it was flooding pretty bad with snow on the ground. We had whitewater boats and dry suits. Ill never forget the the brain freeze you would get when you would have to roll. But Adrenalin helped a lot with that, you just didnt want to have to pull the skirt and go for a swim.
  16. You can definitely use the Force when pulling up on the cord to avoid hitting stuff. Ive done it with a buddies. It has a cutoff but it has to be half way up which is pretty much out of the water when the safety switch shuts it down
  17. lake Lotowana up by Lees Summit has some in it
  18. My buddy has one and when his merc broke one day and we loaded it on the trailer with the Force holding it up with the pull rope https://www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp/forcetrollingmotor/EN-US/GUID-904ACA36-56D3-4251-B6AA-900C25BB64C7.html
  19. I have a feeling he was wondering about the Garmin troller
  20. Bridgport all the way up James and Flat is free of Debris.... Way more color up the James than Flat. Flat creek as been getting clearer every day for the last 3 days. The water temp bumped up to 54 today on the Garmin so 56 on everything else. Crappie were biting today on brush, mostly nice males, next week is going to be excellent
  21. Nice, makes them Stockton whites look like mini's
  22. I fished for a couple hours around Kimberling on Tuesday and it was terrible for me. Couldnt even get bit on a Ned. Going up the James tomorrow, hoping they will eat a big blade
  23. Are you a cop? I would imagine he would be sober since fishing is his job and it was like 7 am. Either way if i were him i would have thrown my gopro with the memory card in the lake so i would have no record of my stupidity
  24. All my bass spinning rods are Fenwicks. HMG's for neds, wacky, and drop shots and i got a Aetos on close out i throw a shakey head on
  25. How long do you guys expect the mud and debris to be in the Bridgeport Flat Creek area? Ive been out of town for a week and get back in the morning and trying to figure out where to fish this week
