im sure the guy is a way better fisherman than me but geez i believe he is over thinking it. I just like to go fish and not over due it. I went today and only caught 5 crappie scrapped that plan and went to an old spot i love and bass fished and had to have caught 30 in and hour and half. 5 keeps, nothing big but man they kept me busy. Topwater, 3" swim bait, a-rig, crankbait, flutter spoon. They just bit on everything....right time same place And yes I did use live scope but anyone that has any skill could have figured it out. I was under a bridge and the huge school of bass was in the shadow of the bridge. I think my biggest help from the scope was to know how far to let the bait sink, I didn't actually watch any eat it

The one on Republic road has these mini meat loafs that they make and freeze and I think they are excellent. Ive been to the ones in both Springfield locations, Nixa, and down in Kimberling and all the butchers do things a little different....all good but some have different options

never tried one on my Pit Boss, Im inspired, hopefully they have them in Springfield

Table Rock Lake record limit?
aarchdale@coresleep.com replied to Lvn2Fish's topic in Table Rock Lake
And he said they were done fishing both days by 10. Hard to upgrade when you have those kind of weights -
I like to put a hook on my BBQ or something solid the night before and walk out in the yard 30-40yds and give it a little stretch

Ive done a lot of diving around Diamond City and Buck Creek a ton and I'll say this, I doubt I've ever went down and NOT ran across a 4 lb bass. They really are everywhere. I just think they are somewhat smart. And I've only dove in summer months and always less than 30ft because at 50-70 we never see hardly any life. I know people might argue with this but I've spent very many hours under water and that's my take.

Table Rock Lake record limit?
aarchdale@coresleep.com replied to Lvn2Fish's topic in Table Rock Lake
Im with ya, Im only comparing the last 10 years, I only crappie fished with the ol' man before that. Ill never forget the video Randy posted about the lake declining but that week I saw his truck at Cape 2 days in a row. Why would you fish it if it sucks so bad dude??????. -
Table Rock Lake record limit?

And Randy Blaukat says Table Rock is in big trouble and on a decline. About 10 years ago was when I started bass fishing and I think TR has gotten better every year. I watch all the Tournament weight and they just keep going up it seems -
Ramifications of Livescope

Its just so hard for me to wrap my head around how playing Mario or Halo with a handheld control translates at all into dialing in your live scope and judging distances with your casts to specific fish -

I mean that kid that caught that one that he followed around with his bait in its mouth was probably 13 when it came out and i doubt he was using it then. But all the Garmin pros had access to it just chose not to practice with it enough and now they are mad. With all honesty the settings are easier to use on LS than an Iphone, the hard part is following your bait with little adjustments but that just takes time to figure out. -

I dont understand why the older crowd thinks they have a disadvantage to the younger guys. ITs been out for 6 years. Everyone has had the same amount of time to learn it especially the pros that have had easy access to it and get to fish twice as much as the college kids that are whipping them. -
i actually booked a hotel close to the weigh in a few months ago but it doesnt look like work will allow so i will have to cancel. I was trying to use all these hotel points i saved up, but never want to go anywhere because im gone so much for work

I have a pole that attaches to my troller that is hand controlled. I like it because it launches with the troller and you dont have an extra stick to dump in separately. I found the pole is a pain if im bass fishing and actively looking around for fish. SO now i only use the pole when crappie fishing especially when they are on brush and not moving around much. Mainly in the spring. The rest of the year i mount it back on my troller

So i have an 1648 jon boat and we recently found a 1996 yamaha 60/40 jet. ive had lots of boats and outboards but zero experience with a jet. Im looking for you jet guys to tell me what i need to know?? My brother is a welder and we plan on beefing up the transom. What else do we need to know? I always wanted a jet and im pretty exited about it but we have no clue what were getting in to

Back when we used to spearfish on Bull we quit shooting the channels in the summer because they tasted so bad. Ive had plenty of catfish other times of the year and they tasted good. I did some research and it said it was because of the algae and stuff they ingested in the summer. Flat heads were always good but they also mainly eat live things
-
Also want to add this. I never had an issue bass fishing being on and off the troller all day with lead acids, But i like to pull cranks on Bull Shoals for Walleye. Lead acid about 4 hours on a fresh set. My Lithiums ive done a 6 hour day no problem. If they dont bite in 6 hours it time to go home.....And i am just running a 24v with my Force
-
my take which doesnt mean crap, i bit the bullet and went with Chins Lithium from amazon, im a little over 18 months in and they are great. And if they really last 10 years would trump my acid batteries. if they last 6-7 its still cheaper in the long run. But i do run a Acid proguide for my starting battery due to my boat being older. I mean if you srcaped up enough $ for a Garmin Force, u can afford you some amazon Lithium's. I have buddies that have got them too, nothing but good news from them

February 9-10 Discount
aarchdale@coresleep.com replied to Phil Lilley's topic in Upper Lake Taneycomo
I went just above Fall creek and had it all to myself. My little guy caught a brown 2nd cast. He was really excited, tried to hold it for a pic and it pooped on him. There was also a Bass tournament out of Empire. Definitely a busy day on the lake -
thats the truth. Ive won my share of small club tournaments and i dont think i ever made a dime
-
Ive had a few encounters on the water and, they were all nice, If your not doing anything wrong they have no reason to be jerks. Had one check us in a tournament on Pomme once. He asked if we were in a tourney and said he will make it quick just wanted to see the fish and check or license. I like when i see them out there checking on things.
