  1. I would think the 12v 55 would be plenty for that boat. I have one on my tracker 175 in the 80lb version. Best thing i have ever done in my opinion, if you dont need the gps and your gonna always be moving in current i would think any wireless not GPS would do what you need and cost you about half the price of a GPS rig
  2. Between the two of these someone could have a good little motor
  3. Call or text 417-894-2975
  4. Hey guys this a 9.9 Montgomery ward sea king. I think it's an 86. Had the title years ago but it is lost now otherwise I might try to get a few bucks for it after the ramp washed out at lake springfield i haven't used it. It ran when I put it up. It would cut out a little here and there but it did run. The pull start broke so I always just wrapped a pull rope around the flywheel and started it that way. Free to good home. It's just taking up space at my house
  5. Thanks guys, that settles it. Im not going to the dam.
  6. Gonna head to Taney the day after Christmas. Been a little over a year since have ran up to the dam. Anything to watch for? Did last years flood move things around? How much water do i need?
  7. I bought my Procyon from walmart.com and got the $14 protection plan. Seemed like cheap insurance in case i decide its a pos
  8. I agree, i got one for my Ned set up. It is the best spinning rig ive ever put my hands on
  9. I agree, i got one for my Ned set up. It is the best spinning rig ive ever put my hands on
  10. I just got a Tatula, and i too have about one every lews model. all i have done is crank with my Tatula and it is smooth as can be, Much better than my BB1, I have the older one not the pro. I will definitly buy another Tatula. I dont think for the money you can get anything much better. $99 on amazon for the one i got
  11. You know the concrete floor battery thing is totally false. Its kinda like the catfish by the dam the size of Volkswagens tale.
  12. All I know is they taste just as good
  13. Thought of another issue, they love poke through rod sleeves
  14. I got quite a few of them. I have had to replace probably 15 eyes in 3 years. Talk to the rod repair guy at BPS and he said that it is pretty typical them falling off and coming loose, they just dont have a big enough foot to mount on the rod very well. I wont buy anymore, and i will probably have all them replaced with regular eyes next time i have to take one in. And as far as performance, I dont think it makes a bit of difference. If you throw braid and tie a leader on it, i dont care how small your not is, you will feel it come through the guides every cast. And they freeze up if you fish when its real cold.
  15. Welcome to selling things on craigslist. Got a few of those per day when i sold my truck. Always a text of email. I just put call only no text or email
  16. I just picked up a new Diawa Tatula for 99 new on amazon. Love it so far.
  17. Board member Ketchup and i fished out of aunts creek Saturday. Launched at 7 Couldn't even get the on plane till a little after 11 due to the fog. We ended up with 4 keepers and 6-8 shorts. It was tough. Ned, rock crawler, and one on top water that ketchup caught in the first 5 casts.
  18. I hit bull shoal at beaver creek two years ago when the water was normal level at 0 high was 14. Had some good crappie and a lot of used up hot hands and toastie toes
  19. Most engines are designed to run on 87, 91 burns less efficient. Ethanol will eat up OLD gas lines but it is no problem to run it in most motors from this decade. It only becomes a problem if you are letting Ethanol sit for extender periods because it breaks down quicker. My Opti runs great on 87 and it never sits more than 10-12 days. 91 burns slower and decreases performance. I used to run Ethanol free 91 before i did some research. I run all day on 87 now and the inside of my prop stays nice and clean. When i ran 91 i would always get carbon build up all over it
  20. Yesterday morning was the foggiest i have ever seen anything. I Launched at cape fair marina at the far ramp from the marina and tried to idle over to sign in for the tourney and i ended up across the channel. We had a good laugh out of that. Had to turn on the GPS to get straighten back out
  21. I tried them for the 5$. Pretty worthless in my opinion
  22. 30lb braid straight to the jig for me. I have tried leaders and cant see a difference in bites.
  23. I heard stockton ran out of bass
  24. Has anyone noticed all the People that get to go to the Cup that arent really "pro status" I was thinking bout how they send high school kids, college angler and the top Foreign angler (which isnt very many) to the cup. Almost seems like it would be the easiest tourney of the year for a seasoned tour pro. Pretty much the same with the Classic. I feel like a regular season tour event would be much tougher to win......Im bored out in the arm pit of the world (Kansas) doing some thinking and a little bit of work
  25. Only 12 limits out of 192 boats today...ouch
