That came from his days as Ca. Governor. I put him near the top of worst presidents ever. For a lot of reasons. Gun trader with Iran for one. Dealing to keep the hostages hostages until after the election for another, being a horoscope policy decider for another, war on drugs for yet another, debts don't matter for another one, tax cuts for the wealthy for another. I'm tired now and won't go on.

Get some shelled corn and a gunny sack. Put ten pounds of corn in the sack and a brick to sink it and tie it shut. Chuck it out 20 or 30 feet from shore with a rope to retrieve. Let it sit about three days and give that area a try. I bet your luck changes. -
Today. Eight big beef and two Cherokee purple on the vines. A shipload of crookneck yellow squash about 2" long. Another shipload of zucchini blossoms but no fruit as yet. Cucumbers are behind. Dill is finally up and getting going. I watered again yesterday.

We're having poached eggs, avocado toast and lovey has a bit of salmon left for hers.

I did a couple of salmon filets with chopped fresh tarragon, lemon juice, a touch of garlic powder, salt, pepper and EVOO for a marinade that lasted about an hour. Grilled over a hot fire on the egg. Baked potato and green salad for sides. Will do that to salmon again.

I believe it takes an act of Congress. I would not hold my breath that this congress can do anything like this which actually makes sense. The Democrats will be all over the Republicans and the Republicans will be all over the Democrats and Mitch McConnell will sit on anything the House of Representatives sends to the Senate. Our country is as close to broken as it needs to get. NOTHING gets done anymore in DC. Other than posturing. There's plenty of that.

I'm just outside Ozark. I got 2.97" last night. And it was windy enough to blow over a concrete bird bath. Leaves everywhere. Further east they got up to 5". No wonder Norfork gates are open and BS is coming up fast.
