    A truly wonderful time. I don't remember for sure who said it, but they nailed it with "This is a lot more like a family reunion than a fishing trip" It's really like that with these people. And everybody showed up with food that was the best of the best. I'm definitely going to bring Janet next year. Thanks again Phil for putting me up and replacing that hook on the DD Sculpin, even if it did take me 20 minutes to get that plastic guard off. And it did come through on that brown. Had fun with literally everyone there. Thank you all for coming and making it so much fun.

    Nutrients, primarily Phosphorus from wastewater discharges. Springfield being the big one. BIG algae blooms before SGF put in nutrient removal. All discharges to Table Rock lake now have P limits, and the larger ones also have Nitrogen limitations. You are right about MDNR getting that credit. They're the water quality protection agency,

    What a coincidence. I just got a message from 23 and me that you're my biological father, and I've been looking for a place to hunt and fish. I have a lot of experience, unfortunately it's not in wildlife management. But somehow, I'm sure we will muddle through together. You do have a spare bedroom there, right?

    I had a somewhat distant neighbor when I was a kid that tortured animals. He wound up getting killed by a bunch of kids with hammers when he was about 30. Karma really can be tough. You can PM me for a name if you want to learn more.

    Same here. No melting at all except where I put down salt. And still steady rain. Which isn't melting anything on the ground or anywhere else.

    It is still 32 here and raining steady. As bad slick as I can recall ever.

    I wish it was here but it's still 30 and raining.

    It is very treacherous out there. I managed to get dogs out to the shop without falling and put wading boots with my corkers on to get back in the house. A person can walk more or less ok on grass, but the gravel drive is very very slippery and sidewalks are nothing but wet ice. Even the dogs can hardly get around right now. One came running up to the house to go in and slid all the way across the sidewalk, He looked embarassed.
