  1. Those are absolutely beautiful fish. I gotta give this trout fishing a try.
  2. Thanks for being a voice of reason. Folks we aren't going to beat this thing unless we stay away from each other. I feel the same way, its not about yourself. Your family, neighbors, community are who your helping. Its being socially responsible and respectful of the people on the frontlines fighting this thing. When you don't social distance your helping this virus grow.
  3. You made one fatal mistake. The people on this forum are very good at figuring out where your at by the pics taken. I’m pretty sure you’ve given up the goods. One hell of a day though, you guys absolutely crushed it.
  4. Not to be debbie downer fellas but I have a question. I dislocated my thumb and they are going to put a pin in it on Tuesday. Anyone have this done before and how long before you were able to start fishing again? I can think of some other months on the calendar where this wouldn't be as big of a problem for folks like us.
  5. One of my favorite fish catches ever. Elephants do eat peanuts
  6. It is a weird time and place but since Mr Morris is bunkered down around there why not.🙂 personally I think it will be kinda cool to see what comes to the scales. I just hope they aren’t included in the “worlds biggest fish fry” . There are some big crappie in the lake and I enjoy catching them from time to time
  7. I'm not sure what the buy in is but looking at the payouts you better get in the top 5 or your just spinning your wheels. Throw in the fact that its only 1 day I think I'd have a better chance of cashing at the poker table!
  8. I didn't know these were 1 day events. These tournaments are expensive to fish. This is a total crapshoot
  9. If I got to pick I would go to Lake Champlain or somewhere in Michigan for smallmouth, Traverse Bay or maybe St. Clair. Lots of opportunities in that area and those fish don't get hit over the head everyday with rattle traps. 🙂
  10. Amen to that , You can have all the Florida strain bass you want. No thanks
  11. Just realized this was a post from last year, I was headed that way! I guess I'll turn around and go back home 😃
  12. Every time I see you two your holding nice bags. Well done fellas
  13. Ealking In another thread shiner fishing in Florida came up. What if we take that Spro fly off and put one on.
  14. I thought those duck dynasty guys shaved their beards
  15. Good job Quill. I always enjoy your reports. You paint a good picture for me.
  16. I was fishing the stretch between Baxter and wolfpen and had a plane practicing landings and takeoffs in a float plane. I think it’s pretty probably pretty common occurrence. Dude was scaring my fish away though!!!
  17. For my money, he is the best on the planet right now.
  18. very interesting
  19. I think there was some game on around 5. I’m sure that had something to do with the traffic.
  20. That's the culprit! If the sun comes out it could get stupid good.
  21. I have a feeling someone is going to start flinging a spinnerbait with all this mud talk.
  22. Morehead's fish was a 6-12 spot, the Missouri state record spot is 7-8 caught at Table Rock in 1966. Dan caught his fish out of a cedar tree on a jerkbait with 8# line. I would imagine his heart skipped a beat once or twice when he saw her.
  23. March 2009 not a record but just a beautiful fish. Dan Morehead FLW
  24. If your handing out money I’ll meet you at the ramp of tour choice
