  1. It seems like this spring has extra tough. Just keep after them and the fish will be there!!!!!
  2. Good job, a little bit of everything. That is a chunky white.
  3. Great job, really nice fish!!!
  4. My wife and I launched at Long Creek at about 06:15 and headed out to find some crappie. We were both throwing a black and green pumpkin pepper flake tube jigs on a 1/32nd oz. head. Crappie bite was very slow today. The crappie had moved off of the banks, we caught the crappie in 10 to 15 feet of water. We ended up catching only 6 keepers and about 25 or so shorts, The keeper crappie was 10 to 10.5 inches most of the shorts was 6 to 7 inches. I was wondering if the crappie might of already spawned with the full moon this weekend. We stopped crappie fishing and started bass fishing, I was throwing a 6 inch green pumpkin Yum worm texas rigged and she was throwing a green pumpkin fish doctor on a spilt shot rig. We ended the day with 15 bass and 3 of them being keepers, 2-15,5 inches and a 17 inch, all the keepers were spots and most of the others were 13 to 14 inches. Lots of boats out today!!!! Water temp. was 65. Was a great day to be on the lake.
  5. Good info and some healthy looking fish!!!
  6. Sorry about your wife. I fished Long Creek area yesterday, the visibility is around 4 to 5 feet, with a lot of pollen on top.

  10. I launched at Long Creek ramp at about 6:30 and headed towards Brushy. I was throwing a tube jig on a 1/32nd oz. head, green pumpkin, chartreuse with pepper flake. I crappie fished in small coves and cuts. I ended the day of crappie fishing around 11:00. Ended up with 8 keeper crappie, had 1 crappie that went 15 inches and the rest were between 10'' and 11''. I was throwing to the bank and reeling back real slow, bite was very lite, usually just felt extra weight on the line. All the crappie were right on bank out to about 10 feet deep. You would catch one here and one there, there was no real pattern. I usually caught 1 crappie in a spot and then would have to move to catch another one. Water temperature was 60.5 when I started and 62.3 when I stopped .
