Love that spook jr Dutch!! One of my favorites. Caught a nice 17.5" LM on one the other day over at Pomme.

And it is still my favorite lake to fish in Missouri..

I agree with you Mr Giggles that you cant complain about anybody doing anything legal. I'm just saying there are a lot of meat hunters at Stockton. In my humble opinion. I watched two "good ol boys" at Mutton Creek one day filleting up a 5 gal bucket of 8 beautiful 3-4 lb largemouth bass. Being a bass guy it broke my heart. Almost wanted to say something. But i bit my tongue. These guys were totally legal. Maybe they need the meat to feed their families. More walleye fisherman than ever before from what i see. And somebody on here hit the nail on the head. Better technology plus more fishermen and a lot of walleyes are being harvested. Its still one of my favorite lakes. -

I fished the north end yesterday. It was brutal. 90 degrees. Sunny. Not a breath of wind. A lot of green mossy looking crap floating around. I bottom bounced for walleyes for about an hour. Nothing. Since it wasnt the ideal walleye conditions i switched to bass. Caught one small LM and one decent smallie on a Robo Worm Desert Craw ned. Plan was to fish from 2 to 7. I left at 5. Lake is like 4 ft high and dropping.

Great info here boys! I have just started using the bottom bouncer technique and have caught a few. Still learning. 2 questions Lmtout: 1) you claim you use half a worm. So do i. I cut off the 2nd hook on the setups i buy. Do you use 2 hooks with half a worm on each? 2) I bought a used boat about 2 months ago. I went to Stockton last week and used my Minnkota Terrova 24 volt trolling motor into a light wind. I went down to one light on the tester pretty quick, 2 hours. Had to go to 4.5 to 6.5 on foot pedal to maintain 1.0 to 1.2 mph. What kind of batteries do you use and do they last all day? Can you recommend the qualities i need in a Interstate lead core battery? Amp rating? Reserve Capacity? My monies are limited so I cant afford the expensive batteries. thanks for the info boys. Great to see you at the OA tournament RPS.

Thanks boys really appreciate all your input. From sunglasses to long underwear and jerkbait rods you boys have always been very helpful. I'll look for a manufactured date Wrench. Sounds like I probably need 2 new deep cycle batteries.

Not another battery question!! I bought a used boat a couple of months ago. The owner was not sure how old the 2 batteries were for the trolling motor. 24 volt system. And neither battery has dates punched out. I went to Stockton lake on friday to target walleyes. Batteries were charged. I started dragging a bottom bouncer into a light wind. Used the trolling motor so i could go 1.0 to 1.2 mph. After 2 hrs my test light showed 1 light meaning batttery power was low. Is this usual after 2 hrs? Should i just break down and get 2 new deep cycle batteries? Anyway just thought i would ask you boys. Thanks for any advice offered. Hope you dont get too much rain!!

Same for me friday bologna. Fished from 2 to 6 targeting eyes. Tried bottom bouncers, tried a jig, tried drifting a jig. Nothing. Talked to a couple of guys who were rigged like they knew what they were doing and they had 2. Bottom bouncers.

Bo: When do you expect to see tackle warehouse sell your new pbj skirt Grass jig?

Was down a couple of weeks ago and caught some nice crappies up in the shallows. Some had eggs some not. Was just wondering if the spawn was still on? Thought about going down this week. Any info is deeply appreciated.

Had a buddy tell me one time he was sitting in a bar with a guy that worked for Lindner's fishing show. He claimed they would put fish in a long pvc pipe so the fish would come flying up out of the water. Just sayin.

I will also agree with you boys on the St Croix products. I use the mojo bass spin setup for light lure presentations. I use the EyeCon for walleye fishing and really like it. I used to use it for Ned fishing, on Dave's advice, but got a nice setup for that for Christmas. But its a good Ned setup. Use a heavy duty Triumph for hybrids. I would love to get an Avid. My buddy has one and he swears by it. You cant go wrong with a St Croix product. And i agree their customer service is good too.

I'm with Bo!! Sincerely, The Scarecrow

Baylor was simply too athletic for Gonzaga. I agree with Bill, if they played in a power 5 conference they would have had some losses. But they had a darn good team. And i love Mark Few. Supposedly he isnt obsessed with coaching, watching film etc. He still takes time to spend with his family. And he loves to fish!! Zags kept switching every screen and it created a lot of mismatches. I have heard that Gonzaga might even be better next year. They got the top ranked high school player coming in. Some 7' kid that is a monster. I was hoping for a good game since my bracket busted early. Didnt happen. The job Scott Drew has done down there is amazing. Murder in the program. No noncon schedule. Probation. Now a championship!

fished yesterday from noon to 6. Mostly up the Little Sac around State Park area. Was targeting walleyes. Tried casting jerkbaits and crankbaits. No luck. Tried trolling a flicker shad. No luck. Tried drifting a jig/crawler combo. No luck. Went home with tail between my legs.

I think Baylor is the only team that has a chance to beat the Zags. Those 3 guards are going to have to shoot well and hit a high percentage of 3's. Baylor is probably more athletic and will D up! I agree with you Vernon that Timme is kind of a "look at me" guy but i admire the fact that he didnt play much early in his career, stuck it out, and now is a major factor in their success. Especially in this day and age of transferring if I dont get enough playing time. This transfer portal thing is becoming a joke!! I heard Braun, of MU, mom was on twitter all the time bitching about his playing time! To you hog fans: I know Baylor covered the spread but you have to be proud how your hogs played. They got after it for 40 minutes! I do like Mark Few. He likes to fish!!!!

I totally agree with you Vernon. Its a joke that the ncaa takes this long to come to some kind of judgement. And now they have some other organization that can decide penalties or not. KU has chose that route. Jerry Tarkaninan said it best, " when North Carolina and Kentucky get caught cheating the ncaa puts Cleveland St on probation!!'

Maybe MU and Ark develops into a good rivalry. Thats what i miss most about leaving the Big 12. Ark has been very lucky. 3 straight games where the opponent has missed the last shot. But hey, they are in the Elite 8. Mussleman is a little over the top for me. They beat MU, without Tillmon, and he acted liked they just won the tournament. Took his shirt off and running around like a chicken with his head cut off. I hope they give Baylor a game. Everybody talked about how strong the Big10 and Big 12 were. SEC has two teams left!
