It's bad when you pay to have someone handle your meat and to don't get exactly what you want or worse get sick from it. I can say that I have never paid to have any deer butchered or even processed into sausage or snack sticks.

Roman candle fights using garbage cans lids as shields. That was fun. When I was 4 or 5 was in a snowball fight and a kid hit me in the head with a rock. I remember getting stitches with memories of bright light and the needle coming into and going out of view. One of my earliest memories. As teens we loved explosions. One favorite tactic was to fill those plastic eggs with sterno and a CO2 cartridge. Set it on fire. When the cartridge exploded it would put out the fire😁.

It took us almost 2 hours to drive 8 miles home on Friday afternoon after my son's wedding. Got into one blocked road after another.

We had someone drive up into our yard to hit one of our snowmen. Always wanted to build a concrete block wall and cover with snow to protect our next set of snowmen. Never did. Our chicken is on the side of the house. Just has to fear my wife. At least for tonight since we head back to MD tomorrow.

My Brother in law was in Vegas 10 days ago and placed a $20 bet on an Eagle repeat. I don't think that will happen. Not sure that they will beat the Saints.

Also the game is the early game tomorrow which favors the Pats. The Pats are beatable this year. So it won't be a foregone conclusion of a Pats win.

Ok Chiefs fans. The lack of playoff wins in Arrowhead is over. Congrats! So now who do you guys want to see next weekend? I pesonally despise the Patriots so much that I will root against them every game that they play. So I am hoping that the Chargers beat them tomorrow and give you guys a chance in Arrowhead for redemption victory.

So I made chili for my son's reception yesterday. Browned ground beef in asian chili oil and drained off fat. Added minced onions, green and red bell peppers and two cloves of garlic. Added that to meat and cooked until onion was translucent. Added abput a third cup of dark chili powder and ground cumin. Two tablespoons of garlic powder, tablespoon of tumeric and a teaspoon of pepper flakes. Mixed that into the burger. Added a small can of tomato paste and a large can of tomato sauce and for cans of chili flavored kidney beans. Minced cilantro was added then salt and pepper to taste let it simmer for a couple of hours. Due to snowmageddon only family ended up at the house. Had the chilli with shredded colby jack cheese and a dollop of sour cream. I added just a touch of Cholula hot sauce. Had more today between excursions into the snow.

I have seen Amish souse or headcheese being made with pig's head and feet. Pickled and in a gelatin loaf. Haven't had that in years. Might oick up some when we are back in MD.

Of course its a chicken😁. Did this instead of cleaning the driveway😌.

We got 12 to 14 inches here in Columbia so far. Folks are starting to dig out. Still some snow coming down.

I have already canceled my trip to Bennett's for tomorrow😓.So it's not likely to be much if any big deal here in Columbia. Some of that is due to the possibke weather the rest is a lot of stuff needs to be done at our house before Monday.

There are lots and lots of geese and many ducks around us in Maryland. Problem is that nearly all land is private land that lease their hunting rights. You get stuck paying if you want to hunt in that area. If not there are very limited options.
