  1. Keep tearing them up. You just may have to figure out a safe night trip on the White and drag @BilletHead and myself out of bed to fish with you😌 down at jigfest.

    Bluegill?

That sounds great! One of the best fighting fish that swims.

    Bluegill?

Bluegills and squirrels are regular Folly Family dinner guests😁! Missed my two favorite times of year this year in MO, bluegill on the beds and squirrels hitting the hickories in Aug/Sep. Have found a local bluegill and redear hot spot in MD. Will be bringing some of those home next spring. I know that @BilletHead has been wearing out the squirrels in his neck of the woods with his air rifles😁!
  4. That's a great looking brown trout! Congrats to your cousin. Looking at these posts from Richmond Indiana heading back to MD. Trying to figure out if I could make a Taney trip when I come back for Jigfest in Dec. Keep us updated on your successes. Haven't seen a walter photos from you guys in a while.
  5. What he said as well! Good luck. You might want to try trout fishing at Roaring River once they open C&R. Should be lots of active fish and not many anglers.
  6. We have to figure out what the issue is between our phones. I wish that we knew like an IT guy that could help get these phones synched 😉.
  7. Not many angels getting wings in the last decade or so😌!

    What's Cooking?

I have some venison shanks from last year's doe that need to meet some red wine and braise for a few hours😁..
  9. Alabama does tend to get one loss. Maybe this weekend. I'm sure that @Ham would love to see a Bama beat down😁.
  10. Awesome Marty. Congrats on a great deer! Though kind of shocked to not get a warning text. Guess I just have to find out on the forum.
  11. My deer plans all fell throigh. Tried musky fishing last Sunday but didn't have a sniff at my baits. Buddy hooked two but didn't land any. Heading back to MD with my tail between my legs for sure 😌. Also found out someone may be hunting the woodlot where we have been seei g deer in MD. May not get a chance there either 😒.
  12. Since I met you at Jigfest last year it only seems like 11 months that you have been gone😜. Nice salty fish photos. Now that the Folly family is based in Maryland we'll be doimg a lot of briny fishing.
  13. I have a real issue with the local Walmart stores in Columbia mainly due to issues I have with Stan Kroenke well before he moved the Rams to LA. So I would go into Walmart just to buy my hunting and fishing licenses and spend about 15 minutes or more chatting with the clerk. I figured that would be a net loss to Walmart for those transactions.
  14. Sounds like @grizwilson😁!
  15. I could bring some sculpin or catch a bunch on Thursday! Know that there are a few OAF folks that want to try them. Just need about 3700 to feed everyone😌!
  16. Duane those bass look like fish sticks to me 😁.
  17. Thats a dandy yellow perch. I know that catch may make at least one OAF member a bit jealous. Looks like a great fishing partner that you have there!
  18. Looks good! Good luck!
  19. That's an awesome trip! Congrats! Too bad you didn't see s buck with those does.
  20. Nice video. I know a couple of folks that caught Gila trout😌. Nice couple. Catching a Gila is on my bucket list for sure😁.
  21. Chief I missed the SW part of the title and focused on his statement about finding any kind of pickerel in southern MO. I gave him the rivers that I felt that with some travel would likely be his best bet to encounter and land pickerel in the state. He and I have talked about the grass pickerel in Crane creek before. Not sure that they are consistently found in the upper reaches of that creek. I don't know enough about that creek once it runs below the trout fishing access points to know if the grass pickerel are more plentiful downstream. Now if he wanted to tangle with possible futility there are musky in Fellows lake😌!
  22. Caught lots of them on inline spinners. The 11 pt guys were caught on maribou jigs and floating rapalas. I would figure that clousers or articulated atreamers would work well if you were fly fishing. The grass pickerel that I caught in Crane hit white roostertails and 1/64 oz white maribou jigs.
  23. I agree Lots of great insight. I have a tough time using a cast net myself. Good to see that he has strong priorities and just doesn't stay out all night fishing!
  24. I have caught chain pickerel almost every time that I fish the 11 pt. Pretty abundant right below the boat ramp at the greer spring access. The Current river below round spring holds chain pickerel as well. Make sure that you have a bit of heavier mono, braid or wire to keep from getting cut off. Good luck.
  25. She did set her 2018 goal at 40 species. As of Friday she is at 53 species for the year. Still some winter fish to go after. So may get her a few more.😁.
