Cross the dam and check the Ash trees on the left side of road if you take that first right. Turkeys along the lake, Mushrooms on the left. I'm 1000 miles away and can't get at them. Watch out for the box turtles (little early but they are thick there).

My sister in law must be the exception. My Michigan old timer friends can't speak a sentence without all the GOOD cuss words. They have been at Phil's about 5 times now and I still have to remind them to clean it up. They are much better now and we charge $1.00 a word. Poker/ Euchre night gets expensive!

We have a very realistic rubber snake that has been on every camping, fishing , hunting, bachelor party trip, colonoscopy exam etc. that my group of friends have had for more then 30 years. We all know it's going to show up sometime but it still scares the heck out of the victim. As we get older we have discussed the possibility of heart attacks.

How many decoys did you have out??? I also use that type of cushion, even have them glued to jon boat benches. They are inexpensive, very durable, shed water well and the mice etc. leave them alone.(well they just barely nibble on them)

Maybe a type of hognose or rat snake but considering your location... Scary water snake. NOT a bad guy!

I am "enjoying" Corona Del Mar, Ca. until Thursday night. Folks and family came first this year. I will hunt a week or so in Missouri then I head up to Michigan for late turkey season there. And Billethead I agree, Fried turkey with a little spice, some fresh fungus and asparagus.... I hope thats what heaven serves. Nice birds everybody!
