  1. Awesome seeing the days harvest eaten so quick. Good work on the hunt. Yesterday would have been a perfect day if work didn’t get in the way.
  2. Drove/Ridden in? And you have an honest opinion? I’ve ridden in a 2022 Vet last week. My buddy never went faster than 55. So my opinion is, is that the vets are slow. Buy a Prius. I have owned several boats with them, and more without. I have had them on some of the biggest bodies of inland water in this country, including Lake Erie and Lake Michigan. Fished Erie weekly for years with and without one. Never, ever have i been in a situation operating a boat where i would have been better off without a hot foot, than with. Never. I can tell you stories about a few trips on Kentucky, Erie, Lake Powell where without it life would have been a lot more interesting. February my tournament fishing partner “who always backs the truck down as i load” said he would load the boat on as i had to run up and take a leak before my pants got soaked. Short story is after his 3rd attempt “yes 15mph cross wind on Stockton” he grabbed the dock and said “i have never owned a boat with a hot foot, nor driven with one, and now i see why. This is the dumbest invention ever. Drive this thing before i go crazy”. His exact words. I jump in the seat and BAM, it’s on the trailer. We watched 3 other boats without jamb that hand control back and forth trying to load theirs. No thanks. At the end of our Tournament on Pomme a few weeks back, as we got close to the ramp, he said “let me try loading this boat again”. I looks sideways at him, as he reassured me he was not going to go crazy. I backed the trailer in, and with a 10mph wind he hit it on first lick. Afterwards his words were “hey bud, sorry about the last time. I just thought those things were worthless. I went out with a buddy a few times since then in his boat, and he let me drive between spot, and load it, and man was i wrong. Now I’m going to be putting one on my Ranger” This was from a guy that had never owned one, nor driven with one, who had no clue of the benefits. They REALLY shine when things get crosseyed out there.
  3. Did you make it down? How’d the turkey shootin’ go?
  4. What size boat you fishing out of? Have you fished Stockton much? Stockton is the area worst on fishing on windy days. With that said, it is manageable without a doubt. I do it often. Trick is, is to pick an area big enough to spend the desired amount of time you are wanting to be on the water, so you aren’t tempted to make a long run due to running out of water. Can’t help much with walleye, as i fish for green fish, but stay away from the north end with wind predicted. Head east between Masters and Aldrich, or way south from Ruark and west, or CC ramp and west. Lots of fishable waters in those location with wind. Pretty windy up here today, but with the day off, i may hook the Skeeter up and head to Masters. Tournament there Saturday, and yep, supposed to be some wind.
  5. So how are you “team no hot foot” when you have no experience? 💁
  6. Yep, way more advantageous to having a hot foot than not. Wouldn’t own a glass boat without.
  7. Weren’t you on there and got the boot? I know i was, and did. So i made 3 other accounts just to piss them off, then had 2 of those booted. I think i still have 1, but haven’t been on there in 2 years.
  8. He came here from Carlsbad, Ca. to get away. 49 years old. I can see how being from Ca. could push a guy over the ledge.
  9. Heard there was a death in the area today. Possible suicide. Jumped off they said.
  10. So if you had to pick, what’s more detrimental to the Bass population, the birds or tournaments?
  11. Jonny is a brain. Guy is smarter than most, and fully understands the business side of his work, and most aspects of Bass behavior and how to put that into success. Really enjoy watching his stuff.
  12. Randy has stated a few times that the titles to his videos is worded the way it is to draw viewers and clicks. Smart business move, but if a guy reads some of the comments on his videos, he gets lots of flack for it. I like the guy personally. Have chatted with him via PM’s and he appears very respectful. Tho some say he is a washed up has been, he does still offer some good content on his channel.
  13. Dude, you were doing so well. Now you’re crack deep in mud.
  14. I see that, and agree. Tho the thieves don’t stop with the fishing community, it does happen on every lake in the country, I’m sure. i think his persona cane off as a tournament bashing, outboard hating person, or the way i read it. I have never been to the Bull Sh. forum, or wherever he posts, and not here to discredit his knowledge, but geezzz, if he has zero interest in fishing a BBT event, nor fishes TR, then how serious do we take the guy? ok, back to my hideout for another year.
  15. Lets go fish a tournament together, in my boat, so we can watch the oil slick behind us, kill some fish we might catch, and steal stuff off peoples dock. Sound about right?
  16. And, a thief. Yep, he said that too. 😁
  17. Dude “I’m assuming”, your response tells me all i need to know about you. Like i mentioned, you are the type that blindly posts without a factual basis. Your half arsed response to my comment isn’t worth responding to. AND, you don’t fish TR, and use only electric motors. Seriously, why did you even respond at all to ANY ONE on this section?
  18. Man, you are 1 of 2 types: A person who lives in his closet, comes out to play when no one else is around, or you are the type that has had it handed to him in life, and therefore is angry at anyone that has a different view than yourself. Your posts sound like the latter. Your comments only focused on negativity, which goes back to his “you must be a hoot at the party type” instead of either being a neutral party “as I’m sure lots on this site are” or throw in some positive vibes, along with your hatred. As was stated above this, there are very few of the 800 anglers that actually caught fish, especially with the weather this year, so your lack luster approach to keeping this lake to yourself doesn’t work. oil slicks from all the boats? That’s funny. BBT participants throwing trash out? Do you own a boat? Do you fish? Do you enjoy TR? If not, why are you on this forum?
  19. You’re going to have haters in everything. I like the professional responses, but some just aren’t worth responding to.
  20. Hey buddy, how did you guys do?
  21. Thanks wrench. You know that tourney we fished up there? I was feeling like you were coming on to me, but being the shy type, I didn’t want to tell you in person that i felt the same. now that you spoke up on here, I’m looking forward to our next meetup. 😉
  22. Haha Daryk. Appreciate you trusting me not to lock you up in the basement, and keeping you for my slave. My home is always open for you, when you make your way back down.
  23. He’s a young, strong man. You’re old’er, lacking some of that brute due to the Mercury lovin’ syndrome that has soaked into your veins.
  24. The last BP fishing fair was in the 1980’s i read. This being the 50th anniversary, it’s going to be a mad house. But, i will show up I’m sure.
  25. As they say, some love you for coming, others love you for going.
