  1. Is the Indian Point ramp your talking about the one by Silver Dollar City? Thanks again!
  2. Can anyone say if Moonshine, State park, or Long Creek ramp at Big Cedar are open to launch a boat? Thanks
  3. I'm in. Cant wait!!
  4. MoBass, when are we going to go fishing? it's getting ready to get really fun. TJ
  5. Well now I don't feel so bad since we only put 3 keepers in the boat Saturday. Thanks for the report and great info!
  6. Macsimus......The banks that we could find that had a little wind on them later in the afternoon is where the fish were caught. It was tough in the morning with cold surface temps and flat calm conditions. Good Luck
  7. I got on the water with a friend of mine Saturday morning at around 0830 and fished the Cow Creek area. The wind was calm and the water had a green stain to it of about 3 to 4 foot visibility. Water temp in the morning was 51 degrees and we saw as much as 57 degrees in the afternoon. We came to fish Warts so that's what we did. The wind wasn't in our favor that day as it never really got consistent. My friend got 2 nice fish pictured both on a Pre Rapala Brown Craw WW. I ended up with only 2 fish myself, 1 being a skinny keeper small mouth. Anyway, only had 3 keepers for the day but had a good day on the water. I did notice Moss starting to form in the lake around the dam area. Not sure if this is going to get better or worse??
  8. Fishing sounds like it is on fire if you like throwing Wiggle Warts from what I here. I'll be somewhere between Indian and the Cows on Saturday so I'll let you know.
  9. That looks like the type of bait I had on my A-Rig.... not the little bass but the other thing
  10. Anyway, here is the one from Beardsley that was caught 2 weeks later. I was in an all day rain storm and fished a stick bait around docks. Had nobody that I could find on the lake to take a picture so I had to run to Big Cedar during a torrential downpour. That was fun. Anyway, got the picture and put her back in the lake. Good luck guys. Fishing is getting ready to get real good!!
  11. Hey guys Long time reader here but first time posting. First of all I appreciate all the regulars on this site as I have learned a ton of information about Table Rock here. When I saw this Big Fish blog pop up, I thought this was as good a time as any for a first post. Yes!! There are plenty of big fish in Table Rock. I have fished this lake now for 20 years, and the last couple years I have seen or heard of more fish in the 10lb class range then I have in a long time. I caught 2 fish in December 2014 that were both 9 plus pounds. I can only imagine what these fish would have looked like full of eggs. I'll try to post an image of one or both. Anyway, these fish are healthy and they are here. In my experience to catch a giant, it has to come from December to April for your best chance. I don't like to bed fish big females but I am sure there are some toads on beds during the spawn. For anyone that wants to know, the pictured fish came from Aunts Creek in December 2014 on a Alabama Rig. The fish I caught 2 weeks later which was just as big or slightly bigger came from Beardsley Creek down by the dam. That fish came on a McStik Anyway, if you see a white Triton around the dam area or in Aunts, say hey!! I'll try to start posting more since I'm on this lake most every weekend. Tony
  12. I think you can buy them at Wal Mart in Branson West back in the fishing department.
