  1. Small jigs Ned rigs prop bait/top water early and late crank bait like wrench said, once you figure em out it’s pretty easy in the creeks.
  2. I had a brown recluse outbreak in my garage. They were everywhere tiny ones you could barely see and big quarter sized granddaddy‘s under just about every object in there. I’m reluctant to use bug bombs because I have young children(I even transplanted some broadhead skinks from a job site to my garages to knock ‘em back)but this is one of the last warm days last year and they were moving around again and I had had enough. The instructions called for one bugbomb this size for my space. I set off five lol. Haven’t seen one since. Skinks are alive and well.
  3. That’s a cool tourney
  4. Dang! Crushed em.

  7. Pyganic has the best knockdown of the organic pesticides. It’s Pyrethrin made from chrysanthemum and degrades quickly and is safe to use on food harvested the next day. I fog my yard with it. They also make a version to use on livestock that is the same thing that you can find in the feed store at times. 8. It’s “unprecedented”.
  9. Those Lamson Liquid reels must have a defect. The same thing happened to me and it ruined my day. My buddy let me borrow his 8wt and a brand new Liquid fell apart on me about 12 times before I hiked back an hour for backup gear. Also, I noticed that your loop knots are much larger than I tie on my stuff. I guess I might go bigger. 🤔 Good luck and keep em coming!
  10. What did the Tarpon eat and what is your set up ?
  11. Keep em coming. My nephew just caught a knifefish in the canal but I won’t litter your thread up. Those tilapia can get huge down there..
  12. Great day. Thanks for the pics.
  13. Good idea on drying it out first. I’ll put it in my garage with a dehumidifier for a while..
  14. Whoa, those fins are a bright shade of green. Is that a spawn thing?
  15. I wonder how long it takes them to re-slime.
  16. Those things will brutalize a high low rig in the surf as soon as the sun goes down haha
  17. Ok. Thanks. I was concerned about the void left by the missing layers so I figured I should fill it to the same depth and shape as it was originally before I place the Kevlar sheet. If I go over it without filling it, I was a bit concerned that the edge/rim of the hole I’m covering would be a wear point if there is a dip in the final layer.
  18. Thanks for the responses guys. Has anybody on here actually done this by chance?
  19. Are you saying that I should not fix the whole first and then put the Kevlar cloth/skid plate over the top because it won’t stick?
  20. Thanks yeah I found that gflex a couple of places on the web as well..
  21. My buddy who now lives out of state called and told me I could have his canoe he doesn’t need anymore. It’s a Royalex canoe. He told me to get some Kevlar skid plates. When I picked up the boat there was a worn spot on the bow. I’m m guessing that I should patch the hole first before installing a skid plate/Kevlar fabric? Does anyone have any advice on repairing this? I’ve never done one. I thought I read a thread here on the subject recently but I couldn’t find it..
