We get our chicken from a farmer down the road. Jolene. She’s great! A few times a year she sells her chickens fresh, never frozen. All of them free range and run about 3 pounds. Perfect! We buy a couple and put them in the smoker for an hour then grill em to get em crispy. Add in some homemade homegrown pickles and homegrown tomatoes and it’s delicious!

Grand Lake (O' the Cherokees) in Oklahoma has an ongoing bass stocking program focused on introducing F1 hybrid largemouth bass (a cross between northern and Florida largemouth). The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC) is leading a 10-year initiative to stock 93,000 F1 fingerlings annually. This stocking aims to improve the lake's bass genetics and potentially enhance fishing opportunities.

I think they recently stocked Grand with Florida/northern hybrids.

I have a Big Horn Outdoor 1500 degree oven. It has a pizza stone but I’ve only used it for steak. It weighs a ton though. Solid heavy gauge stainless steel. But I give it 5 stars for nailing a ribeye or porter house. Can’t wait for the video.

The neighbors have 4 cats that run loose all the time. I caught one climbing in our bushes trying to eat birds. A few days ago one of them grabbed a baby rabbit and took off with it squealing. I don’t mind them eating rabbits but don’t mess with the birds. They have tracking collars on or they would be in my trash can after suffering from lead poisoning. I mentioned it to the cat lady and she put bells on their collars. Occasionally they come through my yard with the app on their phone looking for them. I’d love to see their face when they track it to my trash can. But momma keeps me in check 😆
