    I turn the line around after it fades. Braid lasts forever. I use nylon kite string for backing if I use it at all. I got a giant spool somewhere in the past and it works great.

    You could put some backing on it or fill it with braid. You can always turn it around and use the other end when it fades. Arbor knot is is fine. So is a slip know. Unless your salt water fishing you’ll never have a fish get to the end of it anyway.

    I haven’t heard my neighbors ever unless they are outside and we are too. I rarely see them and then only in passing. Now my old neighborhood was totally different. A bunch of us friends built houses on the same cul de sac. Led to a lot of late nights and it was fun. We were all the same age and it was party central especially on the weekends.

    What I see on the rivers is partyers make up the majority of the business. My neighbor just got an RV. His house is exactly 12' from mine so I doubt he worry's about anyone being too close in an RV campground. I know I know. Don't go all anti burbs on me. I grew up in this environment and it doesn't bother me. I just thought about it. I've always lived close to the house next door. Hmm.

    Since rainbows primarily go through the act of spawning in winter they could spawn in the feeder creeks. Probably why they are found around Roark Creek.

    Oh. You can call my job whatever you want. I love it. I’m proud of it. It pays well. I can do it anywhere with internet or cell service. Technically I never work at a desk. Today was the kitchen table at the condo overlooking the lake. And I wouldn’t denigrate what you or anyone does for a living by calling it a derogatory name either.
