I had early stage cataracts and not enough for insurance to cover it yet. My doctor said I could wait but I decided to pay for it. I couldn’t believe the difference and mine wasn’t even bad enough for insurance. I can see a bait flying in the air again. Although a golf ball disappears after 150 yards or so. But I don’t care about golf.

I don’t know. Kind of muggy. I love cool to cold weather camping but muggy and hot, no way.

Does she like it? Did she have cataracts or do it voluntarily just to improve her vision without glasses?

I saw a show once where they talked to people who almost died. The overwhelming majority said the one thing in their mind near the end was embarrassment. Some because they did something stupid and some because they didn’t use safety equipment. It stuck with me. Kind of a related thing was when my dad finally died. He had been doing that rapid hard breathing thing for two days and my mom was begging them to give more morphine. Not for the pain but to kill him. It apparently is a common unspoken practice. Doctor wouldn’t do it though. Doc said my dad is probably too embarrassed to die in front of us and if we all left he would probably pass away in peace. It was evening so we all left to go eat. About an hour later they called and said he died. The priest said he’s seen the same thing before too.

Extremely. Every time I sit down in the boat. Pfd too. Even when it’s hot and the river is low. Carry a spare for buddies too.

Isn't the idea of kayak fishing to be STEALTHY ? Cars and motorcycles on the road can be any color, but watercraft has to be bright pink or hunter orange, and have flags attached?

You imply that boaters aren’t paying attention or going to fast. I can accept that in some cases. But I’m talking about legitimate accidents where a little safety equipment might help. So a buggy flag will spook the fish but a 21’ bass boat with trolling motor and sonar pinging doesn’t? My point is I don’t want to hurt anyone. I give them the wide birth they deserve.

A guy at at work has the S and it’s crazy fast. It has the same torque and acceleration rate at 60 mph as it does from a stop. 75 to over 100 in a blink is unbelievable.
