EDC was a smith and Wesson auto. The old made in America model. The lock is broke so it pops open all the time so it's sitting in my truck until I go to the gun show. Have a bunch from grandpa and my dad but those never leave the shoe box in my closet. Guys in the burbs been going to karambits for EDC. Nasty little things.

The one thing on the Missouri River people don't realize is how shallow it can get outside of the channel. These guys were hauling deer out on the MO Sunday. Actually one was big as a horse.

I've been on the Missouri in my 17' jet boat but I knew the channel well from living here. I've been below Winfield dam years ago but it wasn't my boat. Every public access I go to on the rivers has the same problem. They have grade the lots a few times a year. Waste of money.

I feel that way fishing below Alton Dam. Change clothes before I get in the truck and head to Fast Eddies.
