  1. Yeah they do. They run charter's out of San Diego all the way to Mexican waters. I would be dead from throwing up the whole time. I've chummed The Atlantic, The Pacific and The Gulf. For a guy that likes to fish I get sea sick bad in swells.
  2. Both rods I found were in the middle of the road. I'm sure they would have been run over eventually. I left my info with Gary at Rim and both guys got their rods back.
  3. I've returned a couple. Both at Rim Shoals BTW...
  4. I don't like tuna salad that much. I caught a yellowfin in Maui and by the fight I thought it was going to weigh a hundred pounds. Came in around 40. That thing pulled like a freight train. But if someone else isn't paying for the trip I'll pass.
  5. Yeah we've been over this before about your short shaft.
  6. Get her a new trolling motor for your boat as a wedding gift.
  7. I have a Ram double cab and when I am pulling the boat you better be pick your gas station wisely.. Just sayin
  8. Sounds like dinner at the old folks home my dad spent his last in. I could not eat it.
  9. Last summer I was surprised by how the number of kayaks getting dropped in had increased. On a side note they are not real quick to unload and get the ramp clear for the next person either.
  10. I've seen that too. Crazy is what it is. About as smart as running your jet ski up in the trophy area when the water is off.
  11. I could just buy you a new one for the same deal.....
  12. I always take my butt seat off the front deck when I decide to move. It’s a pain but I have been on Taney when that little seat blocked my view of a kayak. They do have a propensity to run down the middle sometimes 4-5 across. Then a straggler back off to the side. I don’t want to hurt anyone is the bottom line for me.
  13. I think he said he couldn’t drive either. Otherwise, do all what Wrench said plus take some pictures for us.
  14. You probably need a boat to help explain it to her.
  15. That’s a great idea!!! Never crossed my mind to double it. Does it pull together okay that way?
  16. I tracked my failures with the Alberto back to this.
  17. We floated down in canoes twice right after it closed and both times the water came up and flushed us out. Two guys in a canoe with chest waders on with 2 units running is all you want.
  18. The upper shoal that is the bottom of Long Hole was an awesome place to fish.
  19. It was always pay to get in. $3 bucks per car back in the old days. $5 later.
  20. Man good luck. Being this close to the metro area the crowds are big.
  21. I'm gonna pass on tomorrow and make it next week. Thanks, Gavin. I still have your anchor.
  22. More than a few years ago. Worse day of my fishing life, seriously. If you ever had a chance to go in their old boat house you would see the most awesome collection of trout mounts anywhere. Must have been 10 mounts of fish and I think all were over 30 inches and caught right there. Best trout water ever. Not sure how it fishes on Min flow because I've never been back in there. In the early morning we would wear out the upper shoal past the trailer and then head down to the field in the afternoon. One year I went did 26 trips there. Man I miss that place. Stupid people would argue with John and Ruth insisting it was public access and refuse to pay $3. They got sick and tired of it and shut her down. I begged them to let me back in but they just wanted to be left alone.
  23. Slow too...Just sayin
