Iâve run my flat bottom jet on the White on one unit. Norfork is whole different animal. I donât like running it on low water. As far as trailering and docking. Practice makes perfect and helps if you have some instruction. I trailer mine in big time current all the time.
I have a console and the best advice I got was getting a steering wheel spinner like on a saltwater boat. Itâs almost 4 turns of the wheel to each extreme and you have to have one hand on the throttle to steer a jet. I hope that part makes sense. Iâve never regretted getting a jet.

Thereâs a bunch of them at a farm I ride by on the Katy Trail along the Missouri River. They get away occasionally and wander into nearby subdivisions. But if you ride up on one and they didnât see you they scream so loud itâs crazy.
I bought one of those on amazon. Put a stick of pvc through it and screwed on one of those white plastic cutting boards. I use it as a rudder on the back of my pond prowler. Keeps it in line with trolling motor on the front.
