Costco steaks have definitely changed. Maybe it’s imported now? A regenerative farmer on Rogan said 80% of beef sold in the USA is now imported. It can be passed off as American beef if the whole carcass is processed in the US. Costco meat is cheap. Maybe be this is why. 🤷‍♂️ Current policy allows imported meat to bear a “Product of U.S.A.” label provided it passes through a USDA-inspected plant. It is a heavily exploited loophole that has allowed multinational corporations to import meat, repackage it, and pass it off as a higher-quality product raised by U.S. farmers and ranchers.Mar
