  1. Thought about eatin it.
  2. Got out after the rain. Pretty warm and water temp 61. I caught a few dinks spots and smallies then a couple decent ones. Hooked something big and knew right away it was a smallie. I figured a drum. But this cat smoked a crank and wrapped in some wood. I got it and it 23 inches. I didn’t weigh it. Then a big drum towed me around forever. I wanted my crank back😆. I finally got it in the net but I threw right back out of the net. Unfortunately I’ve weighed a few and I would say it 7-8 pounds. Fun day but not a lot of target species. Pics for @Johnsfolly
  3. I think he gives an update at the very end of the video.
  4. Do they fight hard, @FishnDave?
  5. Bet that steering wheel stinks.😁
  6. I've never been close to one but since I'm always on the lookout but they are surprisingly hard to see at times. And I am around them all the time on the river. Again..... You would think they would stick out like a sore thumb.
  7. It’s crazy how difficult they can be to see at times. You would think it would be no problem but it’s not.
  8. I better make a call. Those are our trout😁
  9. I bought a locking gas cap about a month ago. You can’t trust anyone.
  10. Tiki hut floats are popular on the inter coastal down in the SE.
  11. Now that’s a smallie!!!
  12. I just sold a Winston on Ebay. a guy in Alaska bought it. Had bidders from Sweden too.
  13. Water was high and I fished between raindrops. WT 66 and warm air temp. In total ran about 9 miles of river. It slammed a crankbait in current. I had to stay on spotlok while fighting it or I would drift back into a shoal. It pulled really well in current and went under the boat several times.
  14. If they are so economical why aren’t they more prolific? Idiot.
  15. When I looked at them around 12-13 years ago a full system was close to $40k. My budget bill was about 110/mo. So that at that rate it was 30 years to beak even. Let’s see your setup.
  16. I need to see your solar setup.
  17. I get it. My first house didn't have Tyek or good windows. You could literally see a candle flame move during strong winds. This house has Tyvek, Andersen windows and doors and its 1200 square feet bigger than the old one and the bills are cheaper. You'd have to prove the solar deal to me. And apparently to most of the country. Doesn't seem to have any traction that's for sure.
  18. Call it whatever you want but they aren't more economical than a regular power company setup. We saw our electric bill go down about 30% when we replaced our HVAC system with a new one. It has constant air volume. Set at 75 in the summer feels like our old unit when it was set at 70.
  19. Is that THE John wilson???
  20. Even after the Fed tax credit and my local co-op credit it would take something like 75 years for me to break even on a rooftop solar system. I doubt the equipment would last that long. Or me. 😂 The only people I know that are doing it are doing it as more like a "hobby". Like buying a hotrod instead of a minivan. The Busch family has a big solar deal at their duck club/farm. My buddy said if you hunt there they insist on giving everyone a tour of it. To show it off... I'd be all for solar if it was actually economical. There were a couple new subdivisions out here offering it on their new construction homes. You might see one in the whole subdivision of 200 homes.
  21. What kind of boat? Jet?
  22. Wouldn’t you get more climate cleansing for your buck by getting countries like China and India to clean up to at least the level of the US?Rather than shoving more cost increases for minimal changes on our country? Which is already way cleaner than those.
  23. I’ve never been impressed by the NFoW. I’ve fished it dozens of times. It was just a back up to wading the norfork or the white if they were running water. Or one of my buddies who had this desire to fish it on the way down or back because they heard some romanticized stories about it. And those quickly faded😆
