    I'll probably retire at Tablerock. I'd love to retire near Mountain Home AR but my wife just laughed. She came from a farm and the closest town only had 630 people. Tablerock is about as "rural" as I can talk her into. But I love the Tablerock area even with all of the development and what comes with it. But I grew up and still live in the burbs. I like it.

    Owner/operator truckers got the small biz money too. It was better to sit it out then actually run the truck.... Now we can't get trucks. Last week it was 86 confirmed loads per available flatbed I think. Or very close to that. We used to pay roughly $2.50 per mile (depending on location of course) and now those routes are $5 and you may have to wait a while to get it covered. And if it's going to Montana or Wyoming were there is nothing to bring back out you may not get a truck at all.

    Iā€™ll ask if I see him again. They are literally on it all day. His kids are waiting at the dock every morning and they come in with lights on and music blasting in the evening.

    The place plummeted down hill about 8-10 years ago. Shame really. I donā€™t even bother making the 10 mile side trip in my way to Taney anymore. I got a dog park a couple blocks away I can go to.

    Itā€™s like that everywhere. Gas stations pay $15/hour and canā€™t find anyone. Hiring signs everywhere. Most had to quit giving drug screens too.

    Ever since my trip in the SE and Bojangles spicy chicken biscuit Iā€™ve been thinking about them. I came up with an alternate we can make at home snd the girls made it for Fatherā€™s Day. Chic fe Le closed on Sunday so we had it today. Buy spicy chicken fillet at chic fillet and make Red Lobster Cheddar Bay biscuits. Awesome!!!
