I was in Charleston last week and we had flounder everyday for either lunch or dinner. I had to get out of town or I would weigh 300 pounds....

I have 3 Eyecons I use for that. Both 7' and one is light action for jigs and the other med/light for jerks, neds and whacky rigs. Great rods. Save a few bucks over the avid.

Turns purple in late summer then browns up early. Bugs are horrible in crabgrass too. Clover wouldn’t be bad. Would help the pollinators too.

Not sure on the sta green since it’s the first time I used it because it’s all I could find in December. I used to use a lot less crabgrass preventer before my current neighbor moved in. His yard is dump so his issues spill over into my yard. Year round preventer is the only way I can keep the crabgrass out.

One other thing is put down pre emergent every 3-4 months year round. A lot of weeds germinate in the winter. Like those purple flower weeds. Here’s my 2020 list.

Crabgrass preventer will only prevent crabgrass from germinating not kill crabgrass. First application goes down when the forsythia start turning yellow. If it rains heavily after you apply it it can run right off. If the crabrass is already actively growing it's very difficult to kill. Usually wait for cold weather to kill it off then prevent it. I usually get stuff from Home Depot or Lowes. That is exactly my point. I don’t prefer one or the other just use one that you are familiar with or others are to help you. Otherwise YouTube is your friend. Which isn’t a bad thing. never had a phone break other than Dropped one in the lake.
