Oh man! We were at the white last year taking the boat up to the dam in October. My buddy comes out and says āIs it too early to start drinking crown?ā He caught one rainbow while the rest of us smoked em. He had a hangover by 4 when we headed back to start cooking and us finally having a beer. He passed out after dinner. Not sure why anyone would waste a day fishing to drink.

I donāt have to worry about it now. I havenāt been there since they put that new pipe that comes out below the main bridge however long ago that was. Bunch of dinks. No beer just adds to the heartache of a once great place.

They donāt seem to work on trout in the tail waters. Early spring largemouth eat em.

Weāve drank beer in Bennett SSP since the 60s and 70ās and never had an issue. Didnāt even know it was not allowed until about 12-15 years ago.
